I do not understand why LEGO went back to the Kal Concept recently. And I do not understand why it's working either, or why suddenly people are so fond of it.

So, S@H Denmark has Vikings sets on sale, an' I'm thinking of ordering the Army & Wagon, Boat VS Wyvern, as well as two extra Castle Crossbow attacks for supplies. In short, that's give me, MiniFig-wise --

Today be me birthday! Had a quiet, relaxing day with my parents 'n' grandparents after that terrific chemistry exam -- got a 10, which I believe equals a B. Second highest grade anyway, so I'm flabbergasted!
Lotsa nice presents, too. No LEGO, yet plenty o' moolah to buy it with -- shall be saving it for my trip to Legoland in a few weeks.

Don't you just love the MNOG? Not just playing it -- there are so many clues to decipher, so many gorgeous little details, and a LOT of stuff to recreate, MOC-wise. Of course, building Matoran from this game is always a fun thing, but it's a problem if they don't look quite right. So, after watching At World's End, Pirates of the Caribbean has replaced BIONICLE as my favorite fictive universe. Not to say my interest in BIONICLE is wading, quite the contrary; I feel this year's story and sets has bought back a lot of the creativity, mood, and potential that I was sorely missing in 2006. Yeah, I just changed my name, in honour of one of the greatest LEGO themes ever to exist... Adventurers. You know, the sets with all those expedtions, lost treasures, traps, secrets, mysteries, and lots of other great stuff. I'm still deciding on whether or not to try to collect all those sets I missed back then, just to have a shiny and glorious collection.

Monday night, things could have changed forever, had it not been for the intervening of skill, heroism, and luck. A bombing had been planned at the very subway station -- and nearby -- which lies only a few hundred yards from my school. I dare not think of the possible consequences.

The quality of the sets is in top for the most part, I'm sure, but I've discovered that whenever I buy a new set, I quickly get bored with it.
