Final year of High School, yay. Should be the easiest year from what I've heard. We learn only about half the amount of subjects we did last year.
Unfortunately, just like past years, they again had kindergarten-level 'activities' for the first day. "In order to get to the treasure, you must first work as a team!!", "find the key to the treasure box in one of these cans!!", etc. I swear I'm not making this up.

Then I highly recommend picking up Batman: The Killing Joke. Just got this graphic novel the other day, and it's really awesome. Both this and Watchmen were written by Alan Moore, and you can definitely see his unique style here.
Only downside is that it's really short - but, hey, it's pretty cheap too. Or maybe the copy I got was on sale, I dunno.

(Meh. Sorry for not updating. I've been kinda busy with stuff and didn't have much to say anyway. =P)
Here's the deal. I bought my 360 about two years ago. About a month ago, it got the RROD. Yeah, that kinda sucked, but I wasn't too depressed about it (I knew it was just a matter of time anyway, lol). So I was thinking of buying a new one. Most likely just the Arcade version, since I already have the hard drive...
The thing is, though - is it really worth it? Haven't heard anything about
There's a really strong, weird smell in my house... it's weird. We thought it might've been from a bug spray can we found (maybe it leaked somehow? (it had an expiration date of 1999 lolol)), but we threw it away several hours ago and it didn't help... odd.
Also I just ordered Patlabor 2: The Movie on DVD, it's supposed to be really good from what I've heard

So like I went to a friend of mine today and we played some Gears of War 2 (cuz he just got it the other day), and at first I was really noobish but then I was ok and then it was cool. And there was blood everywhere and it was awesome.
And now I miss my Xbox. ;_;
A friend of mine (who already got XBL) found out he still has a 48-hour Xbox Live Gold card thing, so he gave me the code. Meaning I have free Gold Membership for two days. Which is awesome, since it's been years since my last Halo matchmaking (well, other than that other 48-hour code I used earlier this year, but I barely got to play then).
