Following up the previous entry, this should make it easy to guess.
It's the environments. Despite the fact that the characters have been horribly written for years, the environments have always been interesting. Just try and imagine Bionicle without the characters for a minute. Focus on the environments in canister images, instructions, wallpapers...
This is the only reason I still like Bionicle.

If they don't, why does Bionicle? Other themes produce considerably better sets, and if they do it without focus groups, Bionicle's usage of focus groups is idiotic.

Okay, I'm working on a sci-fi sorta thing. Here's all the stuff I've thought up so far. Tell me what you think. All the stuff is copied from nathan8472's blog, where I was discussing it with him.
Intro:
