Anyway, tomorrow begins finals, so this is going to be a short entry. Well, actually, finals have already begun, since one of them is a take-home exam I received on Tuesday; but that's ok, it just gets it done faster. The take home and the exam tomorrow should be pretty easy, it's the one next week that's going to take a lot of studying. It makes me glad I have a week to prepare.

I just thought I'd point out that there is a rule about imitating other members. This includes copying their name, avatar, signature, etc. It's been around for almost four years and is stated very clearly.
Now normally it is up to the member being copied to report such a thing. Just because, however, a member is banned does not make it OK to break the rules.
Oh, and as if it needed reminding: banned members are not to be discussed.

Today is an exciting day. Although there was an omission on the initial release on LUGNET, I was indeed accepted into the Lego Ambassador program. Hopefully this will help give BZPower some more pull in the Lego community and I hope to have some input on changes that are going on. Tonight the New York Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers and won the NFC Championship. They'll move on in two weeks to face the New England Patriots in Superbowl XLII. It was a very close game score-wise and a real nail-biter in the end. But if you watched, the Giants played the better game (in my opinion). Anyway, I booked my train ticket for Brickfest tonight, so I'm all set now, I have transportation, lodging, and most importantly, registration for Brickfest, this is gonna be an awesome way to end my summer before going back to school (I hope)!

First off, I hope everyone who celebrates had a happy Thanksgiving. My celebration was small but enjoyable, and of course long weekends are always nice.

So I'm down in Virginia now for BrickFair 2008. I met up with Omicron, Kopaka's Ice Engineering, Roa McToa, Makaru, and Darth Vader earlier today to start setting up the Bionicle area. Then we went and had some dinner and hung out, and I drove us around in circles making wrong turns and such. Then we set up some more Bionicle stuff. It was a fun time.

Look for some smaller BZPower gatherings to be planned at BrickWorld and/or BrickMagic now, two events that have not traditionally had a large Bionicle presence.
