I had my firt row of quizzes today. Surprisingly, they were fun. I aced them with limited turbulence. I certainly needed refresheers in my English classes, as I forgot the English word for humilitas (Latin for "anonymous"). That is, among other things.

The thing is, I never recall any time when those items could have been lost. The iPod is almost always with me; the camera is it's pouch and in my duffel; the book is understandable and I think I remember where is it, but still...; the sweater I have no clue about; same can be said about the helney and the T-shirt.

At Philmont Scout Ranch, it's a tradition for the crew, after a long day on the trail, to sit down and reflect on the day's activities. What they do is they label a rose, which was a good happening in the day, a thorn, which is basically a problem or sour note, and a bud, which is something they look forward to. They also try to balance it out as best they can; if they say a rose, they must have a thorn, and vice versa, and this applies to as many thorns or roses they have.
I'd like to apply
I would like to make several propositions for BZP, and wish to know how you, the people, would respond to this kind of change.
First of all, I would have that all forum staff below the rank of Global Moderator give free muffins and snickerdoodle cookies, freshly baked by Tufi, to all members. Today I went on a boating trip with my Boy Scout troop. It was fun-- I had an entire dinghy to myselt two-thirds of the way. Unfortunately, the last part had another kid in the front of the boat who weighed twice as much as I do and had no oar. Needless to say, my arms got a workout today...

My dad was an executive guy. He worked in offices and sat at discussion tables all the time. I always wanted to be a part of this of world of business, be on the real decision-making team, do that kind of stuff. And now that I'm in a few of them, I realize just how totally droll and stressing they can be.

Okay, it's cold. I admit it.
Oregon gets rain rain rain. I'm not used to this cold. I checked and it's 21 degrees.
This wouldn't be so bad if it were not for the fact that neither of our heaters can work properly, so when I wake up it's like a freezer up here.

I guess my last entry was depressing. <sigh> But, good news! Yesterday and today I feel alot better, due in no part to an e-mail I sent last night that made me feel more fulfilled.

I am finally doing my blog revamp! Yay and such.
Most notable is the main block to the right (--->>) has category banners (credit to Adventurer for them) and thequotes have been removed, pending a designated block for those and other quotes. The Dark Side block will be replaced with a more general gallery and the munkie and octapus have been grouped together.
I hope to liven this blog up and make it emerge from dull utilarianism eventually, but this is all I'm doing tonight. Any id
I saw Ice Age: The Meltdown a couple days ago. Loved it, as I did with the first movie. I also absolutely love the soundtrack. The way it conveys the general idea of the movie, its emotions, its urgencies, its triumphs, is great. Very American composing, but hey, I just love classical music more than I do any other musical genre.
If anyone knows if a third movie is coming out, please let me know.
