I'll be most impressed if anyone knows what the titles refers to.
Anyways, I've finally done something I've been meaning to do for ages. I've now started writing my first BZP Epic, City of Dreams. It's based around the city of Hapori Metru, and will hopefully feature several BZPers. So, if you know me, expect a PM from me soon-ish.
If you can't get your novels published, an epic on BZP is the next best thing.

I was looking through the hundreds of sheets of sketches and extracts from my novels, and found something quite interesting. Amidst my beloved Book of Silver, containing loads of ideas for my second novel, I found a passage I'd written that hadn't made it to the book, because I forgot it was there.
This would've been written three years ago. I was pretty surprised when I read it, so I thought I'd post it here. It is quite interesting, you see.

Seran currently has fairly dark brown hair. Seran is pretty bored with it.
Seran would like to dye his hair blonde. EDIT: Or maybe black. More likely black.
Seran doesn't know if this would suit him.
Oh dear.

P.S - MOCs are in the works.
Yes, no MOCs...or indeed anything...in a while. Let's take a moment to catch up, shall we?
1. In 25 days, I must hand in my Art, Graphics, and Digital Multimedia coursework and exams. Ridiculous amounts of work, you can't quite believe it until you actually do it. However, mathematically gifted readers might possibly notice that this deadline leaves a rather large amount of time between it and...well, the rest of time. In other words, I shall soon have ridiculous amounts of free time at my di
I was surfing through Brickshelf as per usual, and I came across Refuteku's folder of prototype sets. Some of them were vaguely interesting, so lets take a little stroll down the Road That Could Have Been...
Kopaka Phantoka
This is quite intriguing...I wonder if the colour scheme was actually meant to be grey and blue, or whether those just happened to be parts that were lying around when they made the prototype? The wings on his legs look pretty cool, but look - torso armour! The set desi
Would you be unhappy if a Tohu MOC didn't have the boring old Toa head, but rather had a nice, creative, custom head? Still with the gears, of course.

'What's happened to the Iron Blog' I hear you cry. Well, I don't really, but I had to get your attention somehow. But anyway, I thought the Iron Blog was a bit boring, and being the Paranoid Perfectionist I am (am I?) I chose something slightly more aesthetically pleasing than a load of metal. Although metal is still great. You can use it to build buildings and bridges and bicycles and lots of other things beginning with 'b' and all the other letters of the alphabet as well. So there.
However
We were really bored in Art class today, so I started doodling, and came up with a random cartoon character:
Fat Fishy is fed so much cake and chocolate that he can barely fit inside his fishbowl.
Here's an animated version, which might take a moment to load.
If anyone can guess how I drew and animated it, I'll be impressed. I'll give you a clue: I don't use Flash at all.
It's true! Intergalactic* Lemon Week starts on July 1st, and lasts for...a week, funnily enough. All Lemon Club Members are encouraged to make and wear banners with pride, although we'll also provide banners if you can't be bothered to make them yourself. Aren't we nice to you? It's during this week that people should spread word of both the Club and Lemons themselves, enlightening the whole universe about the pure magicalness of the humble Lemon. So, tell everyone, and save us money on adverts!
I stumbled across something that, to me, was vaguely interesting. Do you remember the teaser for Bionicle 3? The first one? Well, loads of people were asking about the music, saying that it was awesome. It was, in fact, called 'Discovery', by Brand X music. This link might work. It's actually a really cool piece of music, so...yeah.
Hooray?

This is Karzahni?
The Matoran are fine. Really. No worries there. The spiky thing looks interesting. Lots of useful blades there. Karzahni himself...oh dear.
If it wasn't Karzahni, I wouldn't mind so much. But as it is, I dislike it greatly. The Karzahni I had imagined was black and gold, with a mask, standing tall and noble like Brutaka. He's not evil, merely confused. Instead, he's portrayed as a green, hunched, portly animalistic thing.
There is no feature here that I like, unfortuna
...Maxilos and Spinax after all. I wanted to get Pridak too, for my BBC 44 entry...but I couldn't find any, so I got Nuparu instead. His new armour is awesome. The rest of him is not. Stay tuned for lovely reviews of my new purchases, if you like. Lemon knows I've got a lot to say about them...

I just thought I should post this, it's been annoying me for a while - people entering MOCs they've already built into a BBC contest.
I don't think people should do this, and Tufi Piyufi agrees with me. The point of the contest is to build a MOC for the theme, not enter some MOC you've had lying around for a while, that you might be able to fit in if you add a storyline to it.
Let's look at it another way - you enter a poetry contest. You have 20 minutes to write a poem, inspired by a list
I think I've worked something out. I have a fear of dropping knives onto my feet.
I realised today, when I was loading stuff into our dishwasher. I picked up a large breadknife, and suddenly felt...well, terrified of dropping it. I kept getting a vision of me dropping it onto my foot, and slicing it open. Not particularly pleasant I know, but life's like that.
Yes, I'm scared of my mind too.

So Seran is going on a date tomorrow...to a nice park with fountains and a shop that sells hot chocolate and everything...
And the guy seems really nice...
Wish us luck, or something.

I've given up on my BBC 45 entries, because I am just not inspired enough. My liking for Bionicle seems to have turned suicidal, which is rather inconvenient. However, I've got a Bionicle something planned that should hopefully refresh my creativity - at the moment, I'm calling it 'Project Apocalypse', because I cannot be bothered to think of a better name, and it actually fits rather well.
It's interesting, though not that interesting, to note that this idea came instantly from picking up a
I was right...BBC 45...perfect.
Now I just need to decide what to build. A revamp of Roa's Scourge would be interesting, methinks...but the chance to design a part-mutated-puffin holds interest too.
Would MOCing all the staffies be too much?
