As promised, I'm dedicating this blog to Big D, but I actually have something to say. (Yeah, gasp.)
Seriously, you are awesome: though a full-grown adult, you created a site for a child's toy line that you weren't afraid to say you too liked. With some help, your site combined with another, and in just a few short years (as opposed to long years?), the site managed to gain the attention of over 30,000 people and growing. Now that's an accomplishment.
But you didn't stop at just having a ba
I've been wanting to write this for about a week or so, but I figured today is best. As we all know, today is Friday the 13th (sarcastic "ooh, scary").
One of the symbols of good luck is a rabbit's foot, but when you think about, how is that lucky? Someone has to injure a rabbit to get good luck; rabbits everywhere are now hopping around, missing a foot. That just seems painful and unlucky to me.
I just know somewhere out there is a farm full of three-footed rabbits, all wishing for some g
With Brickfest quickly approaching and not having been online for a couple days, I changed my plans. Instead of keeping all the MOCs to date, I'm going to post the last of them on the Friday of Brickfest.
Part of the reasoning is that I wanted to reveal each of these myself before Brickfest and the pics inevitably begin, giving a nice lead up to the big day. But I realized that I didn't want a bunch of MOCs crammed into one of days that leads up to Brickfest (having this spike of MOCs in the
I don't have to go to either of my jobs today (FYI, I work two part time jobs: Toys R Us and my college bookstore). I just wish I knew that before I got to my 4 AM job at Toys R Us, only to find out it wasn't necessary; icy roads in the dark can be treacherous. At least I was called ahead of time from the bookstore to be informed it'll be closed all day (the school didn't even open until noon).
I just wish I had known that I could've stayed in bed today or at least slept later. Oh well, may
There was a rather confusing proposition on our ballots Tuesday; apparently, voting for it would mean you're against something: in this case, it was certain construction.
Anyway, around voting time, I get calls from people/organizations wanting me to vote a certain way; what I do is tell them I'll be sure to vote without committing to a solid answer. If I'm not sure of all the details I can get, I wouldn't want to say one way or the other.
Entry Word: Considerate

As he sat on his sinking Titanic brand boat, he realized why this company had such a bad reputation; if only he had gone with the Sink or Swim Boat Insurance, some of this might've been avoided. Like a Kodak camera, his day flashed before his eyes as the boat sank faster.
It had started with some Eggo waffles (no chocolate chips), Tropicana orange juice, and some Borden milk. Upon finishing his meal, he grabbed his Dell laptop, headed out the front door, and jumped onto his 10-speed Schwinn b

Why does it seem more important to some people to have social skills than family skills? I daresay, if one cannot relate to relatives, one would think it's that much harder to continue relating to other people.
There are so many activities and programs to keep children busy before, during, and after school these days, but when do they spend time with the people they live with? This is why some parents can't understand their own children.
Besides, relatives are for practice; friends are for
The future looks brighter every day.
And summer is but months away.
Haha, random poetic moment.
Anyway I'm so full of amazement and excitement for this year, but there are so many distractions to getting things accomplished, things I couldn't quite finish when Christmastime was around. I'm trying to force myself to focus on what's really important to me. (I'm still kind of figuring that out.) I'm looking forward to summer, not because school is out (though an added bonus I assure you), bu
Today, it occurred to me: it's been over three years since I cracked my left wrist: it was August 10, 2003. Cracked does not mean broken, as some people keep saying "broken."
Oh, the life-changing drama... of course, it was while I was recovering that I found BZP.
Now my left hand is dealing with a separate injury from something else that happened in June (you don't want to know). Nothing weakens a person more than severely hurting the weaker side (I'm right-handed) because building up str
Wow, it's been over a week since I blogged: amazing or pointless? Who cares.
Anyway, so I have the RssReader, mainly for my Halo 2 stats; everytime I turn around, I'm getting recent updates... from the past. I'm basically getting stuff that happened before what I already have.
I've also been getting e-mails in my Inbox from years ago; granted, they're spam anyway, but they're still from the Messages of E-mail Past. So I get to track down that loose "new" e-mail in my Inbox.
And we thou
Please notify somebody you work with, so that everyone who's expecting you to show up to work doesn't expect you to show up to work. Trying to reach you when you don't respond is just not cool. At least have someone who knows you contact your work if something happens to you.
Please do this for those who counted on you.
Romance, cards, and "enough sugar to send a diabetic into shock," is that what Valentine's Day has come to be? (Let's not forget there's enough mushy specials to make the most stoic person gag.) Why do we need or have one day a year set aside to express love toward each other, even just toward our fellow humans?
Oh well, it's one of the five major shopping days I look forward to... sort of. Actually, it's more like February 15, July 5, November 1, December 26, and the day after Easter becau
Remember this? No? Then you didn't read it, and you just read over the link... shame on you. So very much shame on you. How can I communicate with you if you won't bother to even check out the links I provide. Now what was I talking about again? Oh yeah, something about what's in the link.
Ranting aside, all my problems have solved! That's right, no more world hunger, the cure for cancer, all that... okay, so not all my problem.
We now have a new microwave and stove (almost), and the Inter
