A TALE OF SUMIKI'S DAD how to party with alka-seltzer and mean it barbecued draperies: if you don't eat it, we cover it up for free fuzzy shrimp it's elementary, my dear cheesepuff lips: be free or create asphalt you can do things with watermelon lysol for your sinuses you've got a candy cane, we've got pretzel lampshades
What exactly is wrong with raiding it, pray tell? Aside from some inappropriate stuff (which we Raiders stay far away from on BZP), most of it improves the humor of posts, comments, and blog entries here on BZP.
BrickFair was quite the awesome. Long entry coming in a few days once I get back home, but it was great. My Heavily Armored Wasp ended up getting third, which was ridiculously cool - it actually ended up edging out Makaru's Kahu. Again, it's really just fun to get nominated, even if the concept of winning is hopelessly out of reach. Also Xaeraz and Valendale and I slapped each other all weekend, especially after being ... moistened. With snipples and snapples.
My dad and I started brushing up on our French, for semi-obvious reasons. Never before have I suppressed the urge to say "hon hon hon baguette eiffel tower" so much.
We left Ellsworth before noon, gassed up amidst what appeared to be an octogenarian biker gang, then braced ourselves for a drive on "the Airline" - the local name for Maine Route 9. The moniker doesn't refer to air travel, but in the sense that predated mankind's first flight; it's because it's a faster route to Canada than going up and around on the modern Interstate route. The grades were steep and there were a few potholes, but it wasn't anything like the 20 miles we had to traverse on Rou
The exciting sequel to "Admin for a Day" is here! Here are four more hypothetical situations for you to answer to, situations you'd have to deal with if you were an admin:
1. Due to an unexpected change in real life, Ta-metru_defender is unable to continue his job as forum mentor. Who replaces him?
2. After years on the job, Blog Leader Makaru retires. Out of all the current Bloggies, who replaces him?
3. Now, someone needs to replace that bloggie. Who do you hire?
4. Finally, you ne
In this hypothetical situation, you play as a BZP admin for a day, and BZP needs some more staff.
Pohuaki, longtime Global Moderator, steps down. Out of all the Forum Leaders, who replaces him?
Now you need a FA to fill the FL's spot. Out of all the current FAs, who do you promote?
Next, you need a new FA. Who do you hire?
Now, you need a new reporter. Who do you employ?
Had a few entries like this a while back, but like I said, that was a while back, so it's time for a redux!
Basically, if you had sole control over BZPower, who would you appoint to different Staff positions? Why is optional.
1) A Forum Admin steps down. Which Global Moderator do you promote?
2) Which Forum Leader fills the now-vacant Global Moderator slot?
3) Which Forum Assistant is promoted to Forum Leader?
4) Which member is promoted to Forum Assistant?
5) You need a new reporter.
-----Our phone alarms went off at seven o'clock in the morning, and after a requisite five minute snooze, coffee was acquired and the day began. We managed to leave Knoxville at 9:00, bearing north for the Kentucky border. -----Our goal was to get to Cincinnati a little after lunchtime, and the drive was uneventful until we got to the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Our first stop was lunch at Taste of Belgium, an establishment that prides itself on its waffles. It's extremely European; flats
So I've started, according to my estimation, four epics in my time on BZP. The first was this atrocious monstrosity of a story that lasted all of about three chapters and was fortunately deleted. The second was an actual attempt at a legitimate story that I started when I hit 10,000 posts. It was called Annus Mirabilis, and though the concept was (and still is, I think) quite interesting, I didn't have enough of a story planned out to make it work. The third attempt was a gritty Hero Factory reb
-----6:00 in the morning—our newest frequent wakeup time—saw us ready to go a little after 7:00. Our first stop of the day was at a Safeway in Fairbanks to replenish our supply of water, which didn't take that long save for checking out; the store was still opening and there were only a few self-checkout lanes open, which slowed us a bit, but we weren't getting massive amounts. We found a spot in which to stuff the water supply and we hit the road on the Parks Highway southbound. -----As we
People may be familiar with the popular semi-emoticon ಠ_ಠ. But something about this small item interested my overly-perceptive mind when I saw it ramped up to size 7 my another member who was extremely nostalgic:
ಠ_ಠ
I noticed that there was writing along the sides of the ಠ box. Determined to see what this writing was, I copied it over to my text editor and ramped up the size.
Amazing, isn't it?
Alternatively: The Wonderful World of Going Through Old Pictures I would say "presented out of context" but I don't even remember the context for this in the slightest.
For other reasons which I will not disclose, I will refrain from using any terms that may exactly pinpoint where I went when I was away from BZP. However, you can probably figure it out.
"We" in this story mean me and my family.
We packed up from our house, which is 4 and a half hours north of our destination. We went the entire distance in one day, eventually arriving at our hotel room. The service wasn't great, as we soon discovered. The bathroom had a door on it that we were barely able
I'm doing AP chemistry. That's college work for those who don't know.
If you don't believe me, then, well, do YOU know the Pauli Exclusion Principle as it applies to quantum numbers? Or Hund's Rule for that matter? Or the four quantum numbers?
