I went on a wood gathering mission with one of my friends yesterday. All was going well enough when I got there, other than the first dead tree that was cut did not come down, so there was a danger looming from above the whole time. We got a shorter stump cut up into rounds, and split for hauling off. My brother and sis'n law are coming up here from Oregon this Thursday with their son Eli! I am SO HAPPY! I haven't gotten to see my nephew in so long! None of our family up here in AK has gotten to see Eli, so everyone is ecstatic! They were going to come up for thanksgiving, but couldn't make it, so everyone was bummed. But now, its like... BOOYAH!

I drove across the bay to check out the Drydock the other day. I was checking up on a boat that I was helping paint (I will take pics of it in the day to show you all)

I got 4 of the 6 new neo shifters! Yeah yeah yeah, they are mega blocks, who cares. I like em for their action figure quality, as I was an action figure collector long before being a lego builder.

My truck has a flat tire... ARG!
Good thing I made it here ok. Mustv'e picked up a sharp object, or the tire is just too worn. The inner edge got worn down pretty low last year 'cause the axle I used to replace the bad one is bent, making the wheels splay out. The truck the axle came from was a wreck I salvaged for parts, but it had been winched down too tightly when it was towed, hence the splayingness...... all that work....

Hey everyone.
For those who saw me close my main moc topic, do not fear. I have not given up on Trials of Terror.
Right now, my life is a total mess, and I simply do not have the time to keep up with the project. I will re-post at a later date with the new mocs and story updates.

I had a great time with Ben and his kids friday night. we carved up 5 pumpkins, all with silly faces, and I taught Ben a new carving technique.

I've been wandering around, feeling lost. With no one by my side, I was thinking that I was going to head into winter all by myself, until something cool happened the other day.
I ran into an acquaintance of mine named Ben while I was shopping for groceries. I met him through work over the summer, as he works for one of Sewards largest construction firms. He's come to the tool rental to pick up tools for some of the jobs around town. I always liked talking to him, he seemed really nice.

And even worse, was the terribly hideous beast that was staring down my mask. It reeked of sweet things that made my mouth water. I was paralyzed by its gaze, and was forced to watch it eat sweet treats that it pulled from its pocket. The torture was unbearable! It was eating my favorite sweets!
Green Guy was to my right, passed out and buried under a pile of feet.
After being taken hostage I had passed out, and had the strangest dream.
Me and Green Guy were on top of a mountain, and he was cuddling this strange doll that looked vaguely familiar.
"What is that Green Guy, and why for pete's sake did you bring it here??"

We were walking along after getting out of the pick a brick field, when we came across this lone horseman. The horse looked too organic to be real, but the rider was 100% lego, and real! He was a shady looking guy, all half robot and stuff. He looked rather battle ravaged, and his face was so angry looking.
"Hey Mister" I said. "Are you familiar with this place, could you give us directions to somewhere cool?"

I began my trek through the deep bricks, almost sinking in to their vastness when I tripped. I got up, and lo and behold, I had tripped over my good buddy ...ummm green guy? Letagi's archer has made her way into my Legorium after being left behind after Brickcon with her little green buddy. She was the first to emerge from the rahi canisters, and set off on an adventure. Her first experience was the Jack Stone Clone army. She surfed the mosh pit onto the next area of the Legorium......

Winter quickly approaches up here in Alaska. The snow has already started to fall, but isn't yet sticking, although that may change in a week or so. A large storm front is moving in, so it means either snow, or lots of rain. Rain usually equates to flooding. Hopefully that won't happen again.....

Hello all! Day three has passed, and my Bionicle display is all set up in the Space room, terrorizing all the star wars and space sets. Mwahahha! Sooner or later, a bionicle room will get set up, but for now, space will have to do. I get to Oogle the spaceship cockpit during the day. The build is coming along nicely, and I have finished the head, and started into the shoulders of the moc. I got to go to a radio station and do an interview about the brick museum, and Brickshow 2008 being held this weekend here in Ohio at the Toy and Plastic Brick Museum. There should be a good turnout. They are building a world record castle, and also hosting public building and coloring contests for the kids who attend.
