Today I got more..."appraisal (?)" for my short story. Bonesiii is a picky guy .
Another thing - as I write this, I have just gotten BL#3 at last. The hunt is over !
Saturday, July 1, 2006
Ah, Saturday. The way that life was meant to be. I have my story up, in case anyone wants to read it:
I also made a different topic in sets here.
Today is a quiet day. I helped clean out our refrigerator this morning. It had gotten pretty bad. We discovered old carrot-peach juice, old barbecue sauce, a jar of pickles that looked like they could have been part of some sick science project, and uncovered some funky smells in the process. We actually noticed that a few t

Friday! I'm so happy. I'm done with my short story and have a four-day weekend ahead of me. I'm supposed to read like a four-hundred-page book by Wednesday though. The next few days will have their ups and downs.
Thursday, June 29, 2006
Pretty good day today. I had to go to school again, but it wasn't that horrible.
I finally finished my short story today. You can view it here.

Must...finish...short story! I'm almost done, but I think I'm stretching it at this point for the contest. Today I visited both Barnes & Noble and Borders, and neither had BL#3 yet. This pursuit for this one little book has been very aggravating and frustrating. Anyone else felt this pain before?

Today was really tiring. Another late night, early morning. I'm barely running on Pepsi even now. :wakeup2: I get a day off from summer school tomorrow again. Goodbye now.
*falls, sleeps*
Monday, June 26, 2006
I had a history test in summer school today. I got an A. I fell asleep in the middle of the day. Late night, early morning. I still need to do my homework now :wakeup2: .

My Uncle came last night to stay with us for a few days. That's kinda cool. I also posted this last night.
Something that has been bugging me and frustrating me is the fact that none of the bookstores in my area seem to have BL#3 yet. Super-annoying.
My short story for S&T Contest #2 is coming along; I may finish it by tomorrow.
Saturday, June 24, 2006
Wow, it's like just past midnight when I'm writing this. I'm just throwing my sleeping schedule all out of whack. I'm going to wake up at like, noon now. A while ago (back when it was still considered "Friday"), I started writing an entry for S&T contest #2. I don't know if I'm even going to use what I've written so far because I plan on writing an entry for all three categories and choosing which one is best and sending that in. I feel like posting what I have now

Today my summer school teacher only gave us an hour-and-a-half of total breaks unlike the usual two to two-and-a-half. What the heck is going on!? I have a lot of homework to do and also a lot of material I need to study. But that can wait until the last minute.
Thursday, June 22, 2006
I went to school today. Had two hour-long breaks today in class. I'm so glad my history class doesn't rot horribly like so many of the other ones. That's especially rare for an honors course. During my first break I did some of my homework. During the second I played BS and won over everyone. During the actual class my teacher yelled out swear words while presenting the material he was teaching to us. It's...a good teaching method. I love it when my teachers use that met

Today is the day of the week I have no summer school because my class is awesome. Happy summer solstice, everyone! The longest day of the year! I really put my homework off until the last minute today, so I'm writing this at like 11:30. :wakeup2:
Sunday, June 18, 2006Happy Fathers' Day!
I begin summer school tomorrow, so me and my dad went out to Office Max and bought a notebook and some other supplies. Gee, if I didn't have summer school, I couldn't buy school supplies in mid-june .

Looks like I forgot to write yesterday. Probably because I fell asleep in the middle of the day. Yesterday was my first day of summer school. I have an awesome teacher. He gives us breaks in the middle of class to do homework or walk around to other parts of the school that last about forty minutes long. Just today I got a full hour-and-a-half out of class while everyone else only got three ten-minute breaks. Life isn't so bad. I still get a lot of reading homework thoug

I just got back from my week-long trip. I've gone so long without a TV, I could just watch PBS for hours on end. This week I found out that I don't do too well without a couple hours of brain-numbing activity daily. I start to notice things that are outside that way .
On my trip I finished the first of my two summer reading books (yes, without TV I start reading, I mean really, READING!). That was good. On my trip I also scored an old typewriter from family. I'm not su

I'm leaving on my trip to New York state to see my grandparents today. I'm just going to be away all this week. It's going to be a loooooong car ride.

Today was finally my last day of school. I finished my Greek exam, and now I get a week between now and the start of summer school.
Does anyone else check the Official Greg Discussion daily? That's part of what I do every day after school; I'm just wondering if anyone else pays close attention to it.
Thursday, June 8, 2006
I am now done with four of my five finals! None of them were all that bad, either. All I have left is my Greek final.
Today I didn't have to be present for my orchestra final because my teacher got the class out of it. After that period passed, I told some kid that the class did have to be there, that everyone showed up but him, and the teacher noticed he was gone. He said that it was going to ruin his summer thinking about that if he didn't find out I was kidding or no

I took my science and math finals today. It's finally done! I actually completed my math test this time, which I am never able to do. I think I did okay on my science final too, because I knew almost everything that was on it.
Tuesday, June 6, 2006
OMG! The end of the fourth quarter and the end of the world, all in one day! I must study for science and math tonight, which is very hard when I get distracted by distant noises, lava lamps, the TV downstairs, the smell of food, dreams of summer vacation, etc.
Monday, June 5, 2006
Today I took a science test. I thought I was doing do well when I was taking it, but later I realized that I did horribly on the written part because an alpha-D-glucose bonded to a beta-D-glucose does not make sucrose! I'm gonna die on my finals.
Has anyone seen that movie called The Mission? How depressing.

My aunt's coming over today. Was it not just last week that my uncle paid us a visit ? I made a new topic here. Now that I look back on it after making it, I see it's pretty useless.
Hey, July 4 is just a day away!

That's right, we got locked out of our house yesterday. My parents just walked right out the door without checking for keys. That's the price you pay for wanting to spend time at the park, I guess .
How did we get back in? Well, our neighbor still had a key to our house from the time she looked over our cat while we were gone over Thanksgiving. Yeah, I have some thanksgiving for that right now . Actually, there was one problem -- she was at work and we weren't e
Toa Lewa was a Toa of Air and one of the Toa Mata. He was gifted with the elemental power of air; wore a Kanohi Miru, the Great Mask of Levitation; and carried an axe through which he could channel his elemental power. Lewa and the other Toa Mata were a part of the legend of Mata Nui, a legend that the Turaga of Mata Nui often told to the Matoran during the millennium between the Great Cataclysm and the Toa Mata’s arrival. The legend itself was spawned by a mix of common Matoran legends, the pas
The Lehvak were the swamp Bohrok, one of the six breeds of Bohrok swarm. Their head-plates housed red Krana, which were telepathically directed by the Bahrag.
History
The Great Beings created the Bohrok machines 100,000 years ago, placing them under the guidance of the Bahrag queens. The Bohrok's purpose was to scour clean the outer surface of the earthen dome housing Metru Nui and its silver sea, which protruded out of the ocean of water on the planet surface like a large island, should
