Today is a quiet day. I helped clean out our refrigerator this morning. It had gotten pretty bad. We discovered old carrot-peach juice, old barbecue sauce, a jar of pickles that looked like they could have been part of some sick science project, and uncovered some funky smells in the process. We actually noticed that a few times we had bought something like a jar of peaches, and at some point had shoved them in the back of the fridge, where they would be forgotten. Then, a few months later, we would have bought the same exact thing and done the same without realizing that we had done it twice. The result would turn up today as something like finding a jar of old peaches, and finding an even browner jar of peaches farther back in the shelf. Another interesting thing is that we recovered about eight different bottles of various brands of teriyaki sauces, from the time that our favorite brand was discontinued and we experimented with many other types. Well, I sure hope you weren't think of having a meal right now or something. Sorry 'bout that.
