Well, today is the day that the 13 colonies officially broke away from then England and became the United States of America. I've got to say, I'm truly thankful to live in one of the best countries in the world, where I have so many freedoms and rights. I guess I just can't take things like that for granted....

If you do, you might enjoy reading a completely revamped version that really isn't Cinderella. It's called "Cinderella Retold" and was an assignment in English last week that I went completely overboard on. But if you know me, I love to write, so I took the opportunity to write over seven pages (typed) when it was supposed to be around one page. (hand-written)

Anyone notice the sarcasm? I don't enjoy homework that much... One thing I don't like are word searches. I have one for my Spanish class that's due in a few days and gah I'm terrible at them. You guys might be thinking, "Easy! I wish I had that!" But for me, I just can't pick out the words easily. I have to go slowly. "Pajaro? P, p, p, where's a p? Ooh, now I have to look at all the surrounding letters to find an a."

It's been seven years since that fateful day. Seven years since two planes crashed into the Twin Towers and killed so many Americans. So much time has passed and so many things have happened in that time. It's so easy to forget that event that caused the death of mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters. If you get past all the eses, you'll know the title reads 'Updates'. Well, updates of what? Guess. I mean, honestly, if you know me at all, you know I love to write. So naturally, updates means new chapters in stories. Yayzzzz!!
First off, yesterday, I managed to squeeze posting the ninth chapter of To Be or Not To Be into all the stuff I had going on. (I went and played putt-putt golf with most of my family for most of the day. It was lots of fun, even though we're sooo competitive.
So I have two epical (like my new word?) updates. Can anyone guess??? *shrugs*
Numero uno (I have to practice my Spanish!): I posted Chapter 13 of To Be or Not To Be!!!! If the end seems a little... stiff, it's probably because I really forced it out of me. It took a ton of effort to get it done. Aaaaand, that's not all. An epilogue is coming! Heheh, it prob'ly seems like this epic is never done.

Firstly, To Be or Not To Be is completely written, though, I'm waiting to see if I'll get any replies before I post the epilogue. Feel free to check it out!
Secondly, and most importantly.... (Drum-roll, please!) Well, remember how I said till I was finished with TBoNTB, I wouldn't write any more of any other epic? Soooo, now that I'm done writing it, I've continued on with Toa of the New Republic. Honestly, I'm really pleased with how the thirteenth
After what, months of campaigning and darned TV ads, election night is finally here. And after all the nasty lies and debates, the people have voted. (All over 18 that is. . . If only I could've voted!)
What happens today in this election, will I believe, affect the entire world. Just look at the recent economic crisis. What happened to markets around the world? In this time of wars and rumors of wars, we need a strong leader to lead the US ahead.

Y'know, do you guys ever feel like a squirrel? Like, you're in the house and you're hungry but it doesn't seem like there's anything to eat? So then you have to go around and forage for your lunch, digging in the corner of the pantry, peering in the depths of the freezer (where you find things that should have been gone long ago), and poking around in the Fridge. And depending on your squirreliness and your environment, you may or may not have found something decent to eat.

This past Tuesday, I started school as junior. Woot, I'm an upperclasswoman! (Eh, that sounds sorta weird. ) This is gonna be a really interesting year though, because I have five APs (college level classes), pre-Calculus, and Drama III. Not to mention, I'm still finishing up a class online.

So this afternoon my brother (Israeli Toa) left for his final semester of college. I love it when he's home, so naturally, he leaves and... I get sad. Yep, that's me. Bonesiii gave us what, months to work on our entries for the Storyline and Theories contest. And I work on it.... this past week? And probably three-fourths of it was done since Friday. (Finished it Sunday afternoon) Yikes. It gets even more intense. I was writing an essay for an essay contest (cash prize!) and I needed to give it to my teacher by Monday, though at least I had a lot of that done before Sunday. Still, guess what I was doing Sunday evening?
