This Isn't About The Weather.

A couple of my recent blog entries have been about the cold weather in my area, but I will try something new and fresh, because I don't want to keep pushing on the same topic over and over again.   ...   Anyway, I'll blog about how I posted a news story about Bink's blog entry which talked about something he put on Bionicle.com.   ...   Man, I'm not looking forward to the walk from the library to the house. It's cold outside.

This Is Your Brain.

This is your brain with blue friction pins.   *SMASH*   Any questions?   Actually, I'm kinda feeling that way right now with midterms and essays due tomorrow... but I might finish up that video editing on Saturday. Depends on if I get out of bed or not.

This Is Not A Prank

This is not a prank entry.   I know it is April Fools Day, but this entry is in no way part of some elaborate prank.   Of course, you would think that I would be trying to fool you, and that by saying it isn't a prank, I actually mean that it is a prank.   But I have foreseen your prediction, and I can say that I am not trying to fool you into thinking this is a prank by saying it is not a prank, thus making it a prank, when it is clearly intended to not be a prank entry.   That is all.

This Doesn't Leave This Blog.

[flash=250,100]http://www.menol.org/signature.swf?id=xccj.swf   I cannot allow this to reach the greater BZP public, so all who view it will be sworn to secrecy. To ensure your silence, I have set the internet up to virtually implant a device in your head that will activate if you spill the beans, and thus cause you to post embarrassing randomness for the following 24 hours. Do you want to take the risk that I'm bluffing? Go ahead, make my day.

They're Everywhere!

On this one site, there's a list of people you may know who you can be friends with, and a lot of seemingly random people have been popping up there. Now I realize that these in fact aren't random people, but BZP Members!   They exist in real life tooooo!

They're Everywhere!

I got an LOLcat posted on my Computer Programming homework by the grader, who used it to demonstrate one of my style errors with a catch phrase of "iz 2 long."   *gorges eyes out*

They're Back?

Coolio!   First member post that popped up after the forums came back was in the RPG forum. Funny. I bet they were refreshing like crazy down there.   Anyway, been a crazy weekend with finals and whatnot. So the school year is over. Yay. Sadly, no job, and the job hunt so far isn't looking too great. Meh. But Bricks Cascade in a month, so that's enough to get excited about!

They Said It Couldn't Be Done

But it's happened!   Kex has replaced T-Hybrid as the top human poster.   I remember reading GD topics back in 03 where people were idolizing TH and saying nobody would ever make as many posts as him. Well, times change...   What I'm currently surprised about is that there isn't a hot topic on this in GD already... unless I missed it.

They Replace My Radio Station!

ARHHHHHH!   I am so angry. My favorite radio station, Mix 107.5, has now been replaced by Moving 107.5 Mix used to play "the best mix of the eighties, and more!" Sure, they played alot of the same songs, but they never replayed a song twice in one day. And it was good music too... none of that ol' 60s stuff or this new poppy stuff. They played rock, country, new wave, and alot of my favorite songs, and the DJs were cool too.   And when I tuned in on the radio this morning, instead of h

They Lied!

The Borders online story check thingy said Bionicle Legends 7 was in stock. The shelves and in store computer said otherwise. And their Bionicle section is starting to look skimpy too.   I is annoyed massivly. Now off to Fun Days.

There's Another Lego Theme I'm Interested In.

Just browsing the Lego shop online, I saw these new theme; aqua raiders. I loved the aquanauts, which first got me hooked on Lego. I think I'll try to get a few of the new sets from these theme again... they look like the old aquanauts with some of the new elements Lego's introduced over the years. So I now have something I want other than Bionicles. (Yes, I just put that in the plural. Shoot me).   Oh, and my TD sequal is on chapter 5. I probably won't post it until I have about 10 chapt

There Was A Hobbit On Chuck!

Whenever Merry appears anywhere outside of Lord of the Rings, he's always some sort of Rock Star!   By Merry I mean the guy who played him in the movie, Dominic something. He died in Lost too.   Oh, and Heroes was interesting.   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Love the Ando-cycle

Theme Song

I do have my own theme song. Beat that.   Of course, I composed it when I was six years old, and if it ever left my head in some form of communication, I'd have to kill myself, but I do have one. Yeah.   Fun fact: I remember how old I was when I came up with it because it was in the lyrics.

Theme Music

Just listening to my new Ipod and watching internet Indiana Jones trailers (turns out they're fanmade, but some are okay), and I'm thinking about how many songs I have that are themes to some sort of show or another. So, here's a quick list. Back to the Future- Awesome music for time travelin'. Originally bought it to be used in a spanish parody of the movie I did for my (gosh) spanish class. Kept it 'cause it's cool. Indiana Jones Theme Music: Kinda obvious, right? Although there are mul

The Winning Entry?

Nope, probably not, but it is my first entry into an art contest, so that has to be worth something.   Since I'm unsure where I'd post an artwork topic (I don't want to do any research) I'll just do it here, because then the only people who'd review it in the first place will see it anyway. So, yeah.   First of all, problems you may find in this. Porportions are sometimes off from the body and limbs and mask, but many of them are very detailed. The Ugly Truth About Hiking

It must be a liberal arts hobby.   I joined the hiking club as soon as I came to this university, and they've only been on three hikes since I've been here. And guess what... all the hikes are on Friday! No weekend adventures... it's only for those liberal arts students who are taking lame classes that let out on Friday.   And don't bother suggesting that I go out on my own... I don't have a car. I don't do hikes, I just walk to other places in the city.   On the other hand, I'm taking Ast

The Truth.

"Popular people are happiest."   Okay, it may be paraphrasing, but I heard it on NPR Science Friday. The more happy friends you have, the happier you are.   So what about us antisocial types? Are we doomed to forever be depressed?     PS: I'd be alot happier if I wasn't still sick.   IT"S TRUE! Colbert even referenced the same study in his show today. And he's much more reliable than NPR.   Although he put emphesis on how happiness is contageous. So if you wanna be happy, hang arou

The Tonight Show

I'm not sure how many of you sheltered BZPer stay up late and watch late night comedy TV (AKA, how many of you are college students?) but you may have heard about the NBC issue with Conan OBrian and stuff, where they might be canceling his show, replacing him with Leno, ext. I don't know what the true story is... I'm getting all my updates of this drama from the late night shows mostly, and they have been known to tweek the facts.   Anyway, I like both OBrian and Leno, and the only reason I d

The Sun... It Burns Us...

The suns only really been out for a couple of days and I'm already disliking the weather. Too hot... I'm getting all sweaty just walking between classes. And my room... these dorm rooms are killer in the summer, there's no circulation and they can heat up like a sauna. I had to pull out my fan and start it up.   On the other hand... wow, I never noticed how many girls went to school here. (Well, yes, I actually did, and it turns out they outnumber us males to a small degree, but not in any

The Sun Rises?

Who knew?   I am on the second day of a very, very bad habit I am falling into. Yesterday, I took an afternoon nap, and was up in the evening. Way past Midnight, I decided to go to bed, but couldn't sleep for various reason. So I bagged the whole idea and did some stuff on the computer. I stayed up pretty late... and the next thing I knew the sun was rising. So I went to the cafeteria just when it opened and got some relly good breakfast.   Then I went back to my room, and crashed. The Summer Movie List

This is the first summer in the last five or six years that I have not gone off to a Boy Scout summer camp or a fifty mile trip during the vacation. Of course, my summer expires a bit early as I'm taking an early start collage class at U of W. But I have plenty of time to sit down and relax, and watch a movie! That, of course, after I build up a few blisters digging holes in the backyard... but when my parents aren't out making me do yard work, I've taken the time to watch some movies.   Really

The Price Of Canon

I'm bored, and that has never boded well for this blog, because crazy-long posts ensue. Now, you shall suffer or else stop reading... and really, why would you want to do the latter? (Okay, really, I'll try to minimize any suffering. I promise. Kay?)   Now, as some of you should know... the Bionicle storyline has advanced. The Power Went Out

The "First storm of the season" knocked out our power for about three hours... during the part where it wasn't snowing, windy, and was actually above freezing. They must've cut the wire just for the fun of it.   I went to bed early and took a nap. So, thus, here I am, wide awake, at 2 AM.   And I am not playing MeNOL... although it is an excellent game, nearly as addicting as the other MNOLGs, although easier to beat.   I say this because the last few nights I did stay up till 2 playing i
