Thoughts Of Mistika

I've waited a long time to speak my thoughts of the Mistika, but finally, I'll reveal them. Personally, I believe that the vehicles are total win, and Takanuva is gonna be the first summer set I buy. The canister sets, however, disappoint me. $12.99 for the Mistika? Never. I really don't find them (setwise) nice enough to buy at $9.99, let alone $12.99. I completely understand the price rise, and I totally respect every one of you who likes the Mistika though, and if you do, that's awesome

Science Olympiad

Well, it was pretty awesome. I got up at 4:30 this morning so that I could be at the school by 5:30 so that we could leave (on a bus) for a two and a half hour drive to Minot at 5:45. We arrived at close to 8:30 and Science Olympiad began. I just got home now, so it's been an incredibly long day for me. Worth it, however, because I took first place in the Astronomy division (go figure ). I'm really tired, so I'm gonna watch some TV and go to bed.

Ooh Boy.

Sorry for the long absence BZPower. I've been incredibly busy the past several days, and I don't even have much time for a blog entry now, but I'll give you a nice long, very interesting entry tomorrow. Sound good?

Here It Is.

Alright, well, I promised you a nice interesting long blog entry, and here it is.   Friday - I stayed after school for a few hours recording voices with a few of my friends for a clay animation that we made for Computer Applications class. We had a lot of fun with it (used GarageBand), and hopefully I'll be able to post it here on BZP sometime soon. That same night, I spent three hours with some other people at my house recording all of our stuff for the radio broadcast that we're doing for E

To Anyone Who Can Reprogram Computers.

I've been having some fun in rewriting the program for Star Trek Armada II. I've cracked half of its code for its programming (call it either luck or my great skills with computers), but I haven't been able to figure out the other half. So far, I can change every aspect of the stats for ships, stations, weapons, maps, and missions. What I'm having trouble with is the special weapons. I've created my own vessel, but when I try to give it my own special weapons, some work, others display and d

Moc Of The Week 15

This is it, the renewal of the MOC of the Week contest... Most of you have been waiting for this moment, and now it's come. Who is this lucky winner? Well, a hint: he's won before, but this MOC that he made is so impressive that in no way could I ignore it. The winner? CzaR with Velonese: The Demon King! I don't have to describe this one to all of you, follow the link and see for yourself. It's massive, incredible, and massively incredible. Congratulations CzaR; enjoy your awesome banner

Moc Of The Week 15?

Well, not quite yet. I have the winner chosen, and the banner is complete. I'm a man that enjoys suspense, so I'm sure that you can understand my enjoyment in announcing the winner of the 15th MOC of the Week tomorrow... hehehe...   I'm sure you'll look forward to it.

Eclipse Tonight

The previously mentioned total Lunar Eclipse finally occurs tonight. Earth's dark shadow moves across the lunar surface starting at 7:43 PM Central Time. Along the East Coast, the Moon sits 30° high in the dark eastern sky by then. For those on the West Coast, the Moon rises minutes after the partial eclipse begins, just as the Sun sets. If you're on a hilltop with a clear view of both the western and eastern horizons, you might get a unique opportunity to briefly see both the Sun and eclipsed M

So The Blog Has A New Look.

So I updated the images in my blog, but I'm still working on the Category pictures. As of now, they aren't working out for me, but I think I'll be able to get them working fine in the next couple of days. Let me know what you think! Also, I'm gonna be gone until tomorrow evening. Finally, I'd like a new name for my blog. Suggestions would be awesome!

Something similar to this is hanging in our math room, but this particular version I made myself. They're pretty fun to make. Expect more.

Gonna Be Gone

Just to let all you fine people know, I'm gonna be gone for the rest of tonight and most of tomorrow. I'm gonna be at the Ignite Youth Conference in Beulah, ND. Comment if you know where Beulah is at.

Calling All Blog Staff

You guys are awesome.   You put up with all the blogging members and enforce all the lenient (at least compared to the forum) rules, and I'm sure that gets challenging. Still, you make the blog community a happy and efficient place for all of us.   Thanks.

Do You Ever...

...visualize a member's physical appearance and personality by the pictures in their banner or avatar? I find that if a member has a picture of a person at all in either their banner or av, I sometimes (subconsciously) picture the member (and whatever he/she's saying) as that person.   Do you do that?

Lots Of Important Things.

As a part of another English assignment that we have, we are going to watch War of the Worlds and read the play. Afterwards, we will be divided into groups of three people and will have to record radio broadcasts (not actually broadcasted by radio) about how aliens have invaded Earth, etc. Originally, we would have to use a recorder that our band instructor has to make the recordings, and then add sound effects using a computer, but I found out that I can actually do so on my dad's Mac with Ga

Early Birthday Present!

As most of you know, my Birthday is on Wednesday, but I got my present from my parents today. First off, you should know that on Monday, I have to go to Beulah (30 miles north) as soon as school's out and play pep-band for four different basketball games (districts), and then get home at about 10:30 that night. Although I enjoy playing pep-band, I am not excited about spending 7 hours with nothing but basketball games (which I don't really enjoy watching). When I complained to my dad yesterda

Been Playing Sta2

I've been playing Star Trek Armada and Star Trek Armada 2 a lot lately on my computer. I've had those games for a long time, and I love both of them a lot. Have any of you ever played either of those? I realize that they may be a couple of years old, but I'm an expert at both of them, so if you wanted help, or just wanted a bit of advice, feel free to ask.   STA & STA2 FTW!

New Moc

I was messing around with some thoughts I had for custom titan designs, and this is the result. Note that I wanted it to look bulky, and I think all the tubes look awesome. There's really nothing else to be said about it, as I was just experimenting.   Totally cool custom titan. Angle Back Side Slight Angle   Well?   Any thoughts are welcome, and full reviews are awesome.

Moc Of The Week 14

Hey there! It's Sunday, and as many of you are probably tired of hearing (sarcasm, I hope); it's once again time for the infamous MOC of the Week! This week will be the last MOC of the week for a while, as I'm beginning to get kinda busy, and if I keep on doing it every week, I'll run out of people to feature . I'm really happy with this week's winner though, as the MOC is incredibly good. Who's is it? Well, it's Tahu Nuva 2008 by Kopakalaka! It wins by very obvious reasons... awesome cus

Excitement

I'm so excited for the upcoming total Lunar Eclipse next month. It'll start sometime around 7:30 PM (Central Time) and totality will begin at precisely 9 PM. This event will be visible to all of North America.   *waits impatiently*

Great Set For You To Get.

It's been a while since I've posted a set review of any kind, but I got Vamprah yesterday, and I'm impressed. This is by no means a full review, as I don't even have any pictures yet, but I'm sure all of you have seen the official review of Vamprah by now, so you all know what he looks like inside and out. I got Vamprah not so much because of the set, but rather because of his awesome MOCing capabilities. There are so many parts that he has that can be so useful for MOCing. First, there are
