About this blog

A lot has changed after 10 years!

Entries in this blog

Calvin And Hobbes Ftw!

I was going through some books that my dad has and I found the complete Calvin and Hobbes collection. I've always loved Calvin and Hobbes, and I have a bunch of their collections, but not the entire, complete collection. I'm gonna spend the next couple of years reading them.   Calvin and Hobbes FTW!

Moc Of The Week 10

Tis the end of the year, only one more day of 2007 left, and I hope that this year has been as good to you as it has been (for the most part) for me. As today is Sunday, it's time for the MOC of the Week. I don't know how popular this is with you readers, as these MOCotW entries don't get many comments, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and keep doing these anyway. What's that? You want to know the winner? Well, this week's winner is the Blog Assistant Shine; with his totally aweso

Argh!

I'm going to Bismarck tomorrow, and I want to get one of the six Matoran sets for this year. Unfortunately, I have no idea which one I should get. Any ideas?

Preliminary Polls

Alrighty, here's the Preliminary Poll to my Self MOC contest. The 15 entries have been divided up into three groups of 5 randomly. I put all your names in a hat and had my dad choose 5 of them (which was one group), 5 more (the second group), and then the 5 remaining (the last group). Here are the entries, click for full picture:   Preliminary Poll 1   kyuubi 5   Aklan 2   (The) Argetlam 25   pulsar444 (Vrillai) 6   (The) Juggernaut 11   Preliminary Poll 2   Anathame 5   Inika

Proud Owner Of The Toa Ignika

Yep, that's right. I bought the Toa Ignika in Walmart yesterday, and I just got back from vacation, so I can finally show you nice people some pictures!     From the side.   Huh? What's that? You want proof that I own this, and that I didn't take it off of some guy's Brickshelf? Ok, here's your proof.     Mask of Life, Mask of Light.   Mask of Life.   And again.     I have two words for you concerning the Toa Ignika. BUY HIM!   Any questions or comments about him are welcome.

Moc Of The Week 9

Tis the season to be jolly, happy, and MOCing. Christmas is less than two days away, and I don't know about you, but I'm thrilled to death about it. This MOC of the Week was interesting for me, as I saw many very good MOCs. Unfortunately, I am only able to choose one of them per week. Who's this week's choice? Well, it's the Exo-toran by THOK-ZILLA! I've always liked mechanical things (hence why I'm such a big fan of BIONICLE), and the Exo-toran delivers big-time. It looks tough, quick, a

Deadline Extended

Yes, I know that BZPower has been down for a while, and I'll be lenient to all you. The deadline for entries for my blog contest is extended from yesterday at 12 noon to 12 noon on Christmas Day (Central Time). Hurry, as you've still got time left to enter!

If You Stop By

It's one of my best friends' birthday today. He just turned 16, and he'll be reading this blog entry, so if you stop by here, be sure to wish him a happy birthday! (coincidentally, his name is Greg; sound familiar?)

Moc Of The Week 8

As the time for the MOC of the Week comes again, I'd like to thank all of those who have entered my contest, and all who intend to enter it. I never thought this contest would be as big of a success as it has been, and it wouldn't be so without all you good members here on BZP. Thank you. On the same note, all entries to my MOC contest have been disqualified from MOCotW. I'm sure you can guess why; if I favored one over the other here, in my blog, it would almost give them an unfair advantag

What? An Moc Contest? Really?

Yes, due to the request of several people, I will be holding an MOC contest (BBC style) in my blog. I'm also wanting to do this because there is no BBC Contest this month. I will also be entering this contest, but I haven't gotten a head start on my MOC or anything like that (I'm still not sure what to do), so it's not like I'm cheating.   Theme   I'm sure it's been done before, but I like the idea; so the theme of this contest is: Self MOCs! That's right, you need to make a self MOC to en

Moc Of The Week 7

Once again comes the MOC of the Week contest (also the end of my reign as BotW), and I just found out today that CzaR has been holding something similar in his blog as well . Oh well, it's his blog, he can do whatever with it . Anyway, this week I had trouble coming up with a winner. There were so many great MOCs, but I think I found an appropriate winner. Who? Well, this week's winner is What? with The . . . Beetle?. I've never seen a beetle MOC before, and this one is truly awesome. Th

Moc Of The Week 6

Time has once again come for the MOC of the Week. I regret to tell you that there won't be a 2008 Astronomy month posted today. I've been much too busy. In fact, I barely have time to get this MOC of the Week up, so I'll try to make this one fast. This week's winner is... Awesome^Infinity and his MOC; Tribute to a Hero! This revamp of Matoro Mahri is amazing to me. The legs may not be custom, but the body and arms are expertly crafted, and give an almost human look to the Toa of Ice. The

More Of Makono Darkness

Yeah, that's right. I've got six chapters up of my epic; Makono Darkness, and I'd like for you to read it. I'm very happy with it, and I know that if you read it, you'll want to check back as much as you can because you liked it so much. Also, if you read it, I'd like any feedback you have about it. That can be put here, in my blog, or in the Review topic (a link is at the beginning of the story itself).   Thanks!

Moc Of The Week 5

Thanksgiving has ended, and many of you will be returning to school tomorrow after a long weekend. Christmas commercials on TV are at full blast, and many people have already put out Christmas lights and set up their Christmas tree(s). This, although an interesting and (to some) exciting statement, is not the point of this entry. No, this entry declares the winner of a weekly contest here in my blog. Those few of you (I'm being conservative in saying that) that look forward to this weekly wi

Thanksgiving Rush

Sorry I haven't done much with my blog recently. As of now I'm working on that 2008 Astronomy rundown, and it's pretty time consuming. I gained about four pounds on Thanksgiving, and I'm quite happy about it. I've been staying up pretty late too, as my chance to do that will end tomorrow; at least until next Friday.   I watched Spiderman 3 last night for the first time. To be honest, I thought the first two were better, although the action scenes were awesome. It's quite amazing what pride

Wanna 2008 Astronomy Rundown?

How many of you would like an entire rundown of all the major celestial events of 2008?   Please comment even if you're only slightly interested so I can know how many people would view it.

Real Black Hole

Well, that was my feeble attempt at using an attention getter as a blog entry title, but due to my current lack of entries, I have a question for you...   What is the actual name for a Black Hole?

Argetlam

Argetlam

Well, Here It Is.

The first goal I ever had on BZPower has been realized. I never thought I would see the day that I got 1000 posts here, but I have, and I'm hopefully still going to go strong. My next post goal shall be 5000 posts, but I doubt I'll see that for a couple of years.   Anyway, I've got 1000 posts now, and I'm happy about it.

Moc Of The Week 4

Well, it's Sunday again, and I went through that wonderful forum called BBC and looked for a winning MOC. I found one, and once again it was for the BBC Contest. It seems as though during a BBC Contest, no other kinds of MOCs are posted. Regardless, I found one that blew me away. What is it? Well, it's the Hand of the Void, as made by Seranikai. It's massive, black, and accented with grey and red. Seriously though, the design on this is awesome. I can't describe it. You'll just have to

Vote For It, Ok?

Well, I made this quite a while ago, and I couldn't think of anything to build for the 46th BBC contest, so I decided (at the last minute) to enter this in. It's an Air Speeder for a Toa of Fire.     I made it with landing gear that actually extends and retracts, and the overall design of it is pretty solid. I even built it with headlights!   Side Bottom with landing gear extended. Bottom with landing gear hidden.   What do you think? Oh, you should help me out by using this banner to

Back Again

Well, I haven't been active for a few days, and that's because I've been at a hotel for Ministers Enrichment in Bismarck with my parents. I got to play Gamecube and go swimming for three days straight, and I saw a few of my best friends. I had a really fun time, but I've got a lot of schoolwork to catch up on, and it's making me feel depressed. Well, I guess I'm just saying that I'm back, and who missed me?

Moc Of The Week 3

Well, it's amazing how fast time flies, as once again it is time for me to post an MOC of the Week entry. So, in light of that, who is it? Well, in going through the BBC forum I found pretty much nothing but BBC contest entries. I got into the spirit of the contest and picked out this weeks winner; Synthesis (who prefers to be called Mike) and his Quake Tank. I was really impressed with the way Mike was able to integrate a BIONICLE feel into a war machine. The small details stand out and ar
