...the sixth day before christmas!
The wedding was great. Really short, though. it took about 10-15 minutes. which is shorter than the last wedding I went to. (the groom's sister)
concert time! last night, i had an excellent time at the spring choir/band concert. we arrived at the gym from around 6:30 to 6:45. the band each played a song, and them we (the choir) went up on stage, where the risers were. we did this sort of round robin thing, and it was fun. afterward, we went out to Dairy Queen for ice cream, because the twins behaved so well. ( i saw them during the last band peice; they were fallling asleep!)

...Hurt only when you are several hours from the orthodontist and have had them in for several hours.
Yeah, I got them today. I have to have them in for two years. FUN.
But at least I got to go to Red Robin (which has the best French Onion soup in the world!) Even when they offered to give me a kids menu....
Do I really look that young? I'm turning 17 in just over a month!

With any luck, I will succeed at this this year... I'm going to get plenty of time off school for vacations and stuff, so I hopefully won't procrastinate on this like I do my homework.
Hang on... I've got that math work that due by third period.... Nah, it can wait! (Jk)
and chocolate milk in cereal tastes... interesting.
...That I would totally participate in if I weren't on vacation at the moment and had internet/lego access for more than a couple of hours. *Sigh* Ah well, at least I can update my comedy...which is almost entirely caught up now. So excited! Now I can actually start writing new chapters!
That one horror that terrorizes every high schooler twice a year- Semester Finals.
thankfully, I only had two today. my third period class is more like an independent study time, so I got to leave early.
which means about four hours with the house to myself. and my dog.
and the forums are a lot less crowded, so the pages load a lost faster.
yesterday we got to go two a corn maze about two hours from here. Kapurkar and I tested the myth that keeping your left hand on the left wall and following it will get you out of the maze. Mom, Dad, and the others wandered around with a map.
we got out about 20 minutes before they did. myth Confirmed!
then we wandered around, i did some archery, Kapurkar did the pumkin cannon, and we all had a lot of fun just wandering around.
we also did some shopping. i got a new bike as an early bir

I've also got work, and I need to clean out my pickup. So it's a looooonng weekend. (Can't wait for a new quarter! Summer's almost here!)
So I started reading this book series I've been hearing about for a while... I can't believe I didn't start reading the Discworld series sooner. The humor and storytelling is perfectly my style. But I've run out of books that the local library owns, so I'm attacking a bookstore when I go out of town this weekend. I fully plan on learning from the great late Sir Pratchett's style. (and using him as an excuse when people asking about the style of my work; if he can get away with it, so can I!) I

the movie is pretty good. you might want to skip past the giant ants, but otherwise, it's a hit movie to see!

See, the martial arts studio made a group trip to a water park in Idaho. we went to Roaring Springs, and Wahooz, which was right next door.
they had lazer tag.
it was fun. I love lazer tag. I do now, anyways...
a quick update:
Homecoming is done (Finaly) my favorite part was the noise parade/bonfire. it is a special, important tradtion the school has had for a long time.
we march down main street at 7 PM making as much noise as we possibly can.
my new best friend is staying over at my house tonight. (she says hi) and we are having Pizza and brownies! Yum!
I feel better about soleta now, and i drew a picture. unfortunatley, i am nowhere near a scanner right now...

Hello everyone! Seven days have passed since the start of National Novel Writing month, so it is time for a Novel Update! First off, there's now a topic for NaNoWriMo in the Off-Topic subforum. Go check it out! It's a great place to talk about NaNo without visiting five different blogs. And now! My novel! I'm keeping up on my word counts fairly well, enough that I might finish a day or two early. If I find myself falling too far behind on a particular day, I'll set aside a few hours and
i am finaly back to the large house i call home. i got back on teusday just in time to watch my sises get of the bus. i began to think about it, and i came up wiht the following:
cruise: about $699
plane tickets:about $300 both ways, times two.
hotel: what ever hotels cost.
excursions: about $200-$300 bucks
souveniers: $50?
pounds gained from rich seafood; unkown, and i don't want to.
a week with my mom without siblings interfering, full of laughter and life and love: priceless.

My brother, contrary to what he says, can come up with the best one-liners. Take last week in Choir for example; our Music teacher had just run him through one of his parts (He's the only tenor in the choir) And when she finished...
Teacher: I thought you were my star pupil!
After a minute...
Kapurkar: I thought I was a tenor.
He was refering to the fact that she had played the bass note instead of the tenor. But the rest of us heard him just being confused. And we LAUGHED.
i found out about all-state last night. i didn't make it.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!
oh well, maybe next year.
Kapurkar gets to go to middle school honor choir, though. which is so not fair.

I'm going to a bonfire at a friend's house. my brother is attending the middle school party. I have no idea what the rest of the family is doing.

and I'm going to do some chores real quick. I don't know about any of you, but I would like to start the new year with a clean room.
So obviously I got a little sidetracked during the month of November. And December. And January... First off. I FINISHED MY BOOK. Or at least, I got 50k words. There's still 2 1/2 chapters that need to be written, that have not been done because of exhaustion/school/whatever. But It's almost there. One of my goals this year is to get it published. It happened today. first i got bran freeze. then i felt burnt out. i finally just sat in the car 'till mom was done shopping because i was so burnt out from the coffee. then i got weird images of the class president getting stuck in our pet door.
yeah. don't know where that came from.

They are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable. I thought she would only have one or two, but she has four beautiful kittens. they were born just last night.
