this afternoon in advanced english, we were talking about the electoral college and voting. one of the issues that came up was why all the ballots were not sent to one place and counted there. one reason is so that no one can hack into all the votes and ballots and infulence them for a certian person. i commented that it would be really weird if a terrorist snuck in and changed them all to make Osama Bin Ladan the president, except i goofed and said Obama Bin Laden. oops.

Wow, the blog's still here. So... It's been over a year since I was last in my blog. So much has changed since then. I'm now officially in college, (with a good GPA!) and whlie my webcomic has fallen by the wayside (mostly because there's no space to work on a webcomic in my dorm room) I do plan on picking it up again in the future. hey, i'm back. i'll make this quick, i want to get to bed after getting up at five in the morning.
i got to go on the ski and snowboard trip the school has, so i decided to try snowboarding., after about an hour or two, i decided i wanted to try skiing, isnce i perfer having more control. yes, i crashed a lot, but i succeded in making a crashless run on my last try, if you don't count getting away from the tow rope.
anyway, i better get to bed. i'm tired, and i need sleep!

So obviously I got a little sidetracked during the month of November. And December. And January... First off. I FINISHED MY BOOK. Or at least, I got 50k words. There's still 2 1/2 chapters that need to be written, that have not been done because of exhaustion/school/whatever. But It's almost there. One of my goals this year is to get it published. i just got the word: Mom was on her way back from another city, and she hit a deer. in the honda. which is just a tiny little hatchback. when you hit a deer in that thing going about 50 MPH, it's sure to cause some damage.
thankfuly, Mom's ok. praise the lord. but the car's totaled, so i can't drive it to school. even if i had my driver's license. i'm just in a lot of stress right now. please pray for my mom, she could really use some calming down after that accident.

So i went into Subway today, trying to track down a sibling who had taken the wrong bus, when i heard a screech outside. I looked out, and saw that their had been a car accident. the car that was most damaged was smashed on the front end. the car it ran into, a greyback bus, didn't have a scratch, as far as i could tell. I stepped back inside to make a phone call, and when i came out five minutes later, the cars were moved and traffic was flowing normaly. no traffic jam. no injuries. no flahsing
after finding i have succesfuly become a premier member again, i went to cruise the comedies fourm. what i found was not pretty.

I've been trying to rent it from the video store for at least two months now. Either I'm out of town, or someone else rented it first. last friday, I had it reserved so that I could be sure I would get it. It was never returned in time, and I gave up. And I'm gone this weekend.
I'm debating at this point whether I want to try to use Gamefly, or if I want to fork over the $50 and just buy it this weekend if I have time. I've played it before, and I've played the melee version in Science class
