I am playing with Ben 10 pieces. Nothing serious. I just wanted to see if the torso armour could be used on the Inika build, and look okay. It can.
This isn't a serious MOC, and it's not anything special. I don't have but a handful of odds and ends here in Tulsa, as my collection is at school. Apparently in that handful of parts was an almost-intact Lewa Nuva T9. Now he's been re-adapted for fiery environments. Crazy.
Because why dream about reality?

I haven't been great at this whole blog thing lately. Mostly because I went and made a real blog where I can type up thoughts and feelings on issues I'm not allowed to discuss on BZPower. You know, my religious thoughts.

I love taking terrible photos of WIPs. It makes me laugh on the outside, and on the inside.
So there's nothing terribly special going on here, nothing ground-breaking. But I just wanted to build something, so I have been.
Switch out the blue for black, and the Miru for a Hau, and have it built a month ago, and it would have been my Black Six MOC for the contest. But, I didn't have time for that, so now it's something else.
Last year Vayland Dragon won the Best Bionicle trophy. This year, it was Transtech Shockwave.
The pieces I got from Six. I chose the Miru originally (not a hard choice!), and then through a moment of awesome, convinced Smeag to give me his piece too. I traded that in for this Gresh blade. I would love to have two of them, but Andrew was a stickler about those pieces! Haha, Andrew's awesome.
The MOC card reads: "Because BIONICLE is as LEGO as Lincoln Logs."
Story time!
So, during the evening ceremonies at Brickfair Saturday, they gave away door prizes. One of them was Tuma. When the box image popped up on the screen, we, your lovely and illustrious BZPower staff, cheered, clapped, and generally made sure it was known we love BIONICLE. Todd Webb, the amazing and gracious host of Brickfair, replied quickly with "That's about as LEGO as Lincoln Logs." Because AFOLs hate BIONICLE,
So Brickfair was lots of fun! And if you weren't there, you missed out on the best time of your life. But it's okay. That's why I take photos, right?

Tonight I leave Stillwater for Tulsa. Because tomorrow morning I fly out to BRICKFAIR from Tulsa International Airport.
