Small bit of news for now in regards to the factions in the RP. Up until now I've been thinking how best to do the factions for the RP, but couldn't quite figure out how to go about them (at least, in terms of which would be the primary "protagonist" group and the primary "antagonistic" group, so to speak.) Frankly, it's a bit cluttered right now, and I'm not entirely sure that some of the stuff still in it needs to be there. At the moment, I'm planning on shortening some of the longer sections and updating information with the Factions section to be more up to date, but aside from that, I'm not sure what all I should modify. Evidently Day Run was siphoning all of my effort out of Rise of the Rockets. Either that... or my ability to write great posts suddenly and randomly came back yesterday. But frankly, I don't think the corresponding awesomeness appearing again the day before Day Run shuts down is a coincidence... :3
Activity has increased. I am happy. As a result, here's a thought to anyone reading this who has not yet joined: If you have not seen ROTR yet, give it a look and consider joining it. We always welcome new players, and there's no doubt that we need the extra body -- currently there are only six or so active members, and while they are doing a fantastic job of continuing the story, more people would make things way more awesome. Regardless, I'm glad to see things are picking up again.
I've decided that the next 10 pages worth of IC posts will be done in the style of a musical.

So I finally beat Mass Effect 1 yesterday. That music during the credits is like, my favorite song ever now. Also, I'm pleased to notice that Day Run has reached 30 votes and has been leading its poll since yesterday. This is quite fantastic and I love everyone who has voted for it very much. Now let's keep pushing it into and through the finals!
