This morning I found out about this store called Skia, and we decided to visit it today. It's an awesome store! They sell music, books, apparel, and there's a café and skate shop inside as well! Not to mention you get free WiFi! So I applied for a job there. They aren't hiring yet, but they said they'd contact me when they are.
Not only that, but on the 24th (this month) Superchick will be there to meet fans, sign stuff, and celebrate the release of their new album Rock What You Got! I
There was this brght green grasshopper on our porch and I took a few pictures. This one turned out the best.

Ok, I'm back again. Gosh, with all the chaos at my house, it takes forever to write a single entry. Oh well.

Two days ago I got a haircut. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. (Before, it was just below my ears.) But I like how it looks now. Not too short, but I like it. I don't have a very good past with haircuts. For several years, everywhere I got a haircut, they either cut it shorter than I was comfortable with, or I just didn't like it in one way or another. But I like this haircut.

I'm sick, possibly with Strep Throat. So I've been pretty board all day with spontaneous urges to draw and play music from Kingdom Hearts on the piano. Part of the drawing I've worked on all day you can see below. After I made the head I decided to give it a body, so I did. (Click the image below.) I've finally gotten to play Kingdom Hearts for the first time! I don't know why I haven't played it sooner. I seem to have a habit of getting into things after the hype subsides. Unfortunately I'm only renting it. But I'm definitely going to buy it after I return it.
Some friends of ours visited today from Missouri. They were passing by on their way home from... Texas, I think. We had lunch with them, (sub sandwiches) and then just messed around the house. A few months ago, I think it was some time in February, I drew a picture of Maku sitting on her bed in Metru Nui remembering Hewkii, since he left and (though she didn't know it) became a Toa. So yesterday I wrote a short little story that goes along with the picture I drew. You might have to listen to some soundtrack scores to get into the moment. It helps. Beleive me. Anyway, I've just completely updated my website. It has a totally new layout featuring two drawings I've drawn recently. The one to the left is my interpretation of me, and the one behind it is a picture of a sunset I drew completely in pen with the character Aqual I told you about in a past entry. I really like this layout, compared to the last one. If you view my past layouts, you can see how my web design skills have improved.

I went out to catch fireflies just now. Though, unlike in movies, they don't glow while in the jar. I guessed they were too scared to glow, so I let them go. :/

Ok, it's midnight, I just got back from seeing Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and it was awesome!
I love the fact that they made it look and sound like the older movies. Same sound effects, and there's something about the way it looks that blends it in well with the last three movies.

Well their not "twins," but I needed a word that meant two in some way. (without saying two.) Anyway, yesterday I had the whole day free, so I basicly just MoCed all day. I made these two awsome beings that I must say, I think are my best MoC's to date. But I think I'm going to save them for the next BBC contest, if it fits into the catagory. If not I might post them. Well, I don't have anything else to say, so...
It's been sleeting all day today, and now it's snowing! Everything's coated in ice with a predicted 6 to 8 inches in snow. Almost everything's going to be closed tomorrow, so we can pretty much consider ourselves stranded.
