Returning The Smile You Had From The Start

This week is going to be fun:   Lit test on Monday, Chem test on Tuesday, Algebra 2 test on Wednesday, and Prom on Friday. Plus, I have to work Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-9:30.   And sometime this week I'm sure there is something due for this devotional we've been assigned in Speech class. I wish I had that schedule...   I also have to give a speech at the National Honor Society induction ceremony on Wednesday. I -hate- speaking to large groups of people...   Oh, and of course, Spiderma

Returning 5 Pounds Heavier

Gram's food is always the best. She just had to make french toast for us twice. And then yesterday...sheesh, I've never seen so much food in one place. And I also went to the New Jersey fair yesterday. A side from all the stinky, sweaty carnies, it was enjoyable. The 4-H centers are way more interesting than anything at the Fairs down here. I also don't get why New Jersey has tractor pulls and Alabama doesn't?   New Jersey was very relaxing. Wanted to go to the City (NYC), but never got aroun

Relationships

Relationships aren't easy.   I'll get right to it. I broke up with my girlfriend last night. No, I'm not totally heartbroken. But don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly happy either. I enjoyed being able to call Lacy my "girlfriend" and have the privilege of spending time with her. It was a good 9 months. We went to Orlando, went to the beach, went on dates, etc. We started dating in June of summer 2009. I had money and too much time on my hands. Unfortunately, both my time and money slowly began

Recruiting For Halo Recon

Do you have Halo 3: ODST?   Are you looking for someone to complete the Vidmaster Challenges Deja Vu and Endure?   Do you have the skill to complete these achievements?   Then mrmobado/Watashi Wa is looking for YOU! Yes, YOU!   I'm looking for up to three other plays who would be willing to spend a little time with myself to get these achievements. Respond to this blog post if you want to join.

Ratatouille

So I enjoyed this movie. Minus the 10 minutes of video that were cut out because of a power outtage. Movies are different when you can only hear them, not watch and listen at the same time. And for the last 10 minutes or so the lights were on. But my suffering was not in vein, because I walked out of the theatre doors with a free movie ticket!   I hadn't payed much attention to it before I had read reviews saying that it's another fine movie from the Pixar studios. If you liked their other movi

Questions About Older Sets...

Did the Toa Hordika come with specific rhotuka? If so what are their codes? I need the codes for the black and white Visorak too.   Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm about to put my whole collection up for sale so I want to make sure I send the right things with the right sets.

Puppet

Have you ever listened to someone talk and while said person is talking you think to yourself that everything that person is telling you is complete and utter TRASH?   He was going to let my sister travel to JAPAN but he doesn't want my girlfriend to come with us on a simple family vacation to Virginia?   Oh how I wish I could cut the strings on his back. If only he knew he is being manipulated like a puppet...   HULKSMASHUNGHARRRGGG

Prepare For Glory

I just saw the movie 300 (finally) and I must say its a great movie and one you should see in the theatre. The story was there, and the fight scenes were just as good. Although, when I bought my ticket, I didn't have to show my ID at all. I don't look -that- old...   But the previews for Spider-man 3 were amazing. I finally got to see Venom. That movie is going to rock faces off. Oh, and it's on the same night as prom, so May 4 is gonna be one killer day. Better reserve our tickets soon, th

Post-christmas

Hello, fellow bloggers. I haven't updated in a while, mostly because I've been incredibly busy with finals and, more recently, holiday activities, but for the next two weeks I am completely free.   I hope all you guys' holiday festivities were joyous and merry, just as mine were. Christmas Eve was spent at my sisters' house and included our now annual family gift swap. This year, my brother-in-law drew my name and decided to purchase Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fi

Post Holiday Lull

We basically had our Christmas on Christmas Eve, because my sister and her husband came over and we all had our big Christmas meal that evening. I brought up my Wii and hooked it up to our 52" TV and my brother-in-law brought over his 2 controlers, so we had a big Wii Sports party. It was all fun. My step dad really got into the golf, of course. I was having a great time, until I got asked to come into work...   I worked Friday and Saturday, so I was looking forward to having Sunday off. Possibly My Greatest Weekend

Friday - Went to downtown Prattvile. People got lost but they weren't really lost. People got mad. We took pictures. Went to Waffle House, it was packed, went to IHOP. Within 5 minutes there was a fight. Got free drinks, Mandy is an awesome waitress.   Saturday - Worked. Met up with everyone and played football. Went to IHOP in town. Most friends left, another came. The 4 of us left decided to take pictures at local places in town. Decided to go to Troy which is a 40 minute drive (and it was 1A

Planning My Future

About a week and a half ago I had my bi-annual appointment with my advisor. Nothing new was discussed; she mostly just pointed out which classes I now had access to since I have completed more prerequisites. The only real reason why we even have these appointments is so we can get our pin number to log into Webster to actually register for classes once they become available. Also, early registration! One of the perks for being an upperclassman.   Conclusion after much planning and schedule-mak

Pink Tux To The Prom

Ok, maybe not a pink tux, but we still wanted to wear pink tuxes. Maybe for the formal in May. But yeah...I got convinced to go to Homecoming. I have a date and all, but the cash is kind on the DL if you know what I mean. I went to Jim Massey's this afternoon and placed a rental order. Cost me a whoppin $90, but I'm going to look fly. Hopefully my date will be lookin' good too.   Yeah, I'm having serrious withdrawels. I haven't played my xbox360 for nearly two weeks. and it's getting to me. X0

Pictures From The Concert

Here are a few of the pictures I took from a show I went to last night. The camera only had a little bit of juice, so I didn't get to take nearly as many pictures as I wanted to. These are just a few of the best pictures of the band I went to see - In Fear & Faith (they stole the show, IMO).   Noah - this one was actually taken from my phone with a 2 megapixel camera. This is also my favorite picture of the evening. screamer breakdown bassist not my hands drummer hardcore the huddle

Pax East: Pilots Love Purple-flavored Water

Friday was about the worst day possible. I awoke at 3:50 in the morning to make it to my 6:00AM flight to Detroit. Upon arrival, I was informed my flight to Boston was cancelled and that I had been rerouted to DC, then to Boston. My flight to DC was delayed once, finally got to DC and my flight to Boston was delayed twice on top of maintenance issues with the plane. I finally landed in Boston around 7:30, close to about 8 hours behind schedule. I essentially missed the whole first day of PAX Eas

PAX East 2013

As has become tradition, I went to PAX East 2013 in Boston this past weekend. My good friends Andrew, Nate and Adrian (and others not on these forums) accompanied me. If I may, I believe I speak for the entire group in saying we all had an extraordinary time. This was my third time in Boston and my affection for that city grows every year. I would highly enjoy the chance to visit the city outside of PAX and experience of the culture that town has to offer.   Maybe this weekend I'll write a blog

Pax East 2012 Wrap-Up (W/ Pics!)

Well, Andrew was able to get around to posting an entry about PAX East so I figured I should write something too.   Unlike Andrew, however, I have a few pictures that I magically resized into more post-friendly proportions! You better enjoy the pictures, because I totally spent like 20 minutes resizing them while listening to Gotye.     This picture was taken shortly after take-off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. I woke up at 2:30am Thursday morning to make my 7:31am flig

Opportunities

I had so many opportunities tonight and I just let them slip out of my hands.   Why do I hesitate every time we're alone?   Is it because I have feelings for someone else?   Can I really fall for someone I've never really met before?         At least she liked her birthday present.

Onto The Fourth

Tragedy struck at the Wa^2 household yesterday evening. While trying to setup and enjoy a lovely game of Halo 3:ODST's Firefight mode with good friend Than: Matoran of Anger, my Xbox360 began to not want to work properly. I've had problems with ODST giving me disc read errors (somewhat common among consumers who bought said game), but last night I was getting the error whenever we would try to start any game. What was already an annoying problem turned even worse when my Xbox began to freeze. I
