A little while ago I posted this entry, announcing my intention to MOC some mechs from the game Chromehounds. I've settled on some things about the project.
•The parts will be modular.
•As soon as my good computer is up and running, I will make Lego Digital Designer files of the mechs and their components for your use.
•The first colorscheme will be snow camo. (white and gray)
•The first base will be treaded.
•It will be primarily system, with technic for connections and framing.

The good news is that I've almost completed my current WIP. It's over a foot tall, not even fully extended. Mostly System with technic skeleton and balljoints. Decidedly strange.
Oh, the bad news?
I'm missing the two last pieces, which just happen to be very critical and pretty much irreplaceable. I know I own them, but it will take a bit of searching, and if that fails, a parts order.

Monday, I arrived at my doorstep to find a rather large box waiting there for me. I pretended not to know what it is, but it was obvious. Because I totally ordered it a week ago. The box contained four sets: Lewa, Kopaka, Antroz, and Kirop. (I also knew this) We shall start with the latter, because he is the first one I built.

Chris Coleman (The mayor of st. Paul) and Al Franken are about ten feet below me, in the living room. The reason? My mom is chairing a campaign for Russ Stark, who is running for city council. (he actually won officially a few minutes ago) So long story short, I'm chillin' with famous people.
