Chols Posted January 17, 2011 How about LEGO Island on the Cryengine? That would be great if LEGO wants to kiss accessibility goodbye and throw it right out the window, but that game would be interesting to see. The more I think abut it, though, the more the original LEGO Island resembles the Source engine. you could potentially completely remake the entire game on it. I guess you could say that for a large number of modern engines, but Source is easily one of the most dynamic and accessible for modding. Quote Link to comment
xon Posted January 18, 2011 I know some modelers... We're called BNG -- To bad everybody hates us. Anyway, I've never purchased LI. =/ Quote Link to comment
Waffles Posted January 18, 2011 Would be awesome, but has too small of an audience. Quote Link to comment

Anyway, I've never purchased LI. =/ Well yeah modeling would be needed, but I mean modding as in game modifying. It appears to me that practically anyone can make a Source game conversion, although I have no idea exactly where to begin, unless it's possible with Gmod... Quote Link to comment

Maybe Source SDK would be of good use then? You can do mods and whatnot in that. And it's pretty easy to use when you've gotten the hang of it. It should be in Library > Tools in Steam, if I am not mistaken. Quote Link to comment
