I've bought dozens and I've only had problems with two. Most used music stores and dealers (outside of flea markets, Amazon/eBay, garage sales and the like) are pretty strict about what's sold; they check most CDs to make sure they work. The main store in my area I purchase from is like this, and will even repair any damaged CDs free of charge.

No real reason not to trust them, really, so long as you're just careful.

Then again, I hardly buy CDs. :b

Mostly digital. I mean, I'm not in to music a whole lot but still like digital better.

Meh. Digital sucks.

You can find CDs for a lot less money than it costs to get a digital album, and there's also more there than just the songs. There's the artwork, the booklet, everything - people don't seem to realize that's important to an album as well.

I've gotten digital albums in the past, which is something I have come to regret. I feel much more satisfied with my purchase when I get CDs.

Well, I don't walk around with a CD player everywhere, I'd feel better with a iPod in my pocket. I know you can put the music from the CD on your iPod but digital is faster. :\
