The first mystery dungeon? Honestly, aside from it's ending, it's plot didn't really wow me. Now, Explorers of Sky... that had a plot to die for. I hope B&W is the same.

It's not quite Mystery Dungeon 2 standard; but it's sure close. I'd say if MD 2 was first; Black and White would be second. It's a lot like they took inspiration from the main Pokemon manga for this game(Pokemon Special/Adventures). For one, the whole Gym Leaders taking a more active stance; secondly the plot's way more complex than before(You can't take two steps without running into something story related); and while it's not as complex as being from the future and getting turned into a Pokemon; it's a close second, I'd say.

That's okay; it took me 7 days to get all 8 badges; while some people finished it the first day, somehow. xP

Considering all the reviews I read put play time from twenty hours all the way to forty hours to complete the main plot, I was just as amazed that people beat the game in a day. xD

They could of been using a trick my brother once showed me back in the golden days of G/S/C; battle using only your starter Pokemon. This may seem like a bad idea, but the thought is that it'll be a high enough level it can take down stronger types without dying. I used the water poke from Gold to beat the entire game, including the Elite Four. But when Emerald came out I used a more... mature strategy.

1. Well heck; I've got over 70 hours, and I still haven't finished the main story, myself. xP

2. Yeah; I've heard of that strategy myself; it's actually a viable challenge that some people use. However, with the new formula, it still seems like you'd be grinding; unless there's just enough trainers with just enough EXP to get through the entire game in around 12 hours. I'll have to test eventually; once I get another version, so I don't lose everything I already have. =P

Plus; I tend to idle the game while I'm on the comp. And some days I stay up slightly later, and also play. =P

My thoughts exactly. I remember thinking as I was at the climax that it would be hard for Generation VI to top it. But it's certainly not as good as MD2; that was filled with plot twists and awesome.

Also, somehow I was able to beat the game in four days with just over 24 hours of play time, which really doesn't fit in with how I've always played the games. I guess it's partially because I generally get so scared of the Elite Four that I spend an extra week or two just training my team, but that didn't happen this time for some reason.

Tavakai: Yeah; I'm thinking it's gonna be hard for Gen 6 to top these games too. Heck; I'm not even that sure how they can upgrade it for the inevitable third version, in terms of story.

Wow. =P I'm stuck at the E4 right now; need to re-challenge them. What order did you take them on in?

What have you been doing in the 46 hour difference between our games? O_o I mean, I'm expecting to maybe spend 6-8 more hours beating the game, but still...=P

I haven't swapped out any team members (barring the dropping of...Scraggy D:) and I think this is the first time I've played a Pokemon game without a Flying type. =P (I almost said without Water types, but...err...=P)

Well, I swapped out a few members. =P It may be that and the fact that I tend to idle the game while I'm on here; which increases the hours without anything happening.

Plus; have you been catching everything so far? That might have something to do with it. =P

And same here; you just get Pidove too late to get good training for it to be on your team. xP(That and the other Pokemon are just too awesome to not include)

No, not really. A few here or there, but not too many. =P

Yep. I just caught a Tranquill and taught it fly a ways in. I keep it stored in my PC Box unless I need to travel a long distance. =P

1. That and the fact that I bred stuff, constantly trained, and idled on the GTS for quite a while(At least one day I just sat on the GTS trying to get the other two starters; I know that for a fact. xP).
