Whoa

So I just found out today, my older sister is moving to Minnesota in a few weeks.

My reaction? Well, this puts it simply. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Yeah, on one hand, the house will be quiet without her.

On the other hand, the house will be quiet (Argument free, that is) without her.

Take it from someone who knows: It may seem like a good thing at first, but before long you'll find yourself wishing every day that she hadn't left.

I agree with this.

When my brothers first left for college, I was extremely happy, but then, after a couple weeks, you miss them.

Well that may be true in many cases...

I don't think so. Let's just say, both her and one of my older brothers have been causing ###### in our house for the past year.

Dude, my sister and I got into fistfights. When I was younger, she took one of my toys and buried it in the front yard. We fought constantly. Same with my brothers. Heck, the police had to be called at one point.

But no matter how horrible it may seem when when your siblings are there, once they're gone, things change. And you realize that being without them is just as bad, if not worse, as being with them. I had to go through this three times. "You never know just what've you got until it's gone", they say, and it's quite true.

I swear to you, as someone who has been in the very place you are now three times, that no matter how much you deny it you WILL eventually miss your siblings terribly.

Hmm, I do see your point. But...

Oh the Karz ever, I'll see what happens in a month's time.

Or more then that; my older brother left almost two months ago, and I'm still in the "Yes! He's gone!" stage...

Eh, I missed my brother for a while after he left, but it's been like five or six years since he's left so I don't much any more -- sometimes I still miss him, though.

With my sister it's an entirely different matter. For the three years she's been gone, I didn't miss her at first, then started missing her since the house became really quiet as I am now the only one of my siblings still living here, and now I've gotten used to it and when she does come home I kinda like it better when she wasn't here. =P

I do like how I have someone to run with when she's here, as I'd rather run with someone than by myself, but I don't mind running by myself that much.

I frankly believe that most of my missing her will be missing the person she once was, not the person she is now...

I know how that feels; I feel like that about my two oldest brothers. However, they still visit a lot, so it isn't that bad.

But of course, the house is nice and quiet now, although a little lonely.

Raz: Nope, what the 'heck' ever is a perfectly correct curse.
