In this chapter, Isarot, Kiriah and Lariska sneak into King Brutaka's old study, which is underneath the Hall of Unity. Here they discover mysterious writings and pictures left by the late-king, but before they can figure out what they mean, the trio is ambushed by a large group of Anicans that knew they were going to sneak into there.

In this chapter, Nasis and Ahova make a deal with the Skakdi known as Kafor for information on the Dark Hunters.
