I guess this means the amount of posts has little to do with it. I'm gonna guess it's just an overload of actions being processed at one time (posting, etc). The database is probably fine for now, but we'll have to see how much strain the bandwidth can take.

Supposedly the server has been upgraded since the downtime, so I'm confident that it will be better than old BZP overall.

It just wouldn't be BZP without board messages. =D
