Takuma Nuva Posted October 26, 2011 Oooh, what are you applying for? Only advice I can really give is to avoid saying "um" a lot. xP Also, call them "sir" or "ma'am" if it seems appropriate. Something to show respect. Quote Link to comment
Vorahk1Panrahk2 Posted October 26, 2011 My sister once told me that one of the best things you could do before an interview is prepare and honest answer do the question: "Why do you want this job?" Aside from that I'm not sure what advice I can give you. Last time I applied to Target I didn't get it. Good luck! Quote Link to comment

Takuma Nuva Posted October 26, 2011 Crazy, I just got a job at target. Most of my questions were about team work. So it might do you well to think on that. Specifically, think of specific examples if you can. You may be asked to describe a time that you were on a team and something went wrong. Maybe a time that something went right. Things like that. But, yes, be prepared to answer "Why Target?" You could give reasons for why you'd prefer Target over something else, like fast food. Trust me, I'm not a fan of coming home smelling like food every day. Though, you certainly shouldn't use this method in such a way that you make it sound like Target was "the only thing left" after eliminating other possibilities. They're gonna want to hire someone who would be excited to work there. How long until your interview, if I may ask? Dress nicely. Like, button-down and tie with nice shoes and pants. Show up a few minutes early if possible. Come mentally prepared. It may sound obvious, but you don't want to carry in a notebook with prepared answers to read from or something. I'm sure a lot of this stuff you already know, but I do what I can. d= Quote Link to comment
Rarity Posted October 26, 2011 Should I give examples of being part of sports teams, when they ask about team work? And it's today. D: Quote Link to comment
Takuma Nuva Posted October 26, 2011 Whatever teamword scenario you think will most relate to the position you're applying for. What position are you applying for? Quote Link to comment
