Moar major seventh chords! Everyone loves those. Well, I do, at least.

I'm going to have to give this a shot - usually when I grab for a seventh chord, it's a minor seventh, I'm tempted to see what a song of nothing but major seventh chords sounds like.

Maybe it needs thirteenth chords, too. Just for a bit of flavor, not all the way through the thing.

So basically every song you're writing is a indie megahit and you're not happy??
