I have a laptop and it hasn't helped me keep up with blogging. =\

But laptops are generally pretty nifty, so it's all good.

I don't have a labtop, but I have a wireless mouse that goes with a labtop!

Though seriously, I know I'm going to buy one sometime within the next year, and it will probably be as up-to-date as I can get it. Sadly, I'm afraid to buy a labtop because I'm afraid that anything I get will be obsolete within a few years and incapable of operating anything sufficient (such as video games).

By the way, you are so frickin' lucky that you're getting one for your birthday.

Well the main reason is because college is just around the corner, but I guess it's asgood a time as any.

And I think most laptops in the $900+ range would lastmore than a few years, so long as you aren't looking to get past the minimum requirements for the most recent/advanced games (like Arma 3, which I may not even be able to run).
