Some of the stuff this woman pulled off in translating the Harry Potter books into Japanese is brilliant. You think making puns is tough enough, try translating them.

Puns and other wordplay are some of the hardest things to translate. I've never read any translations of the Harry Potter books (since I'm not really fluent in any foreign languages), but if this person managed to translate them faithfully while maintaining the humor within the series then they are indeed deserving of respect.

... If I knew Japanese beyond the lyrics to "Akai Tsuki" from Desgaea, then I'd probably be inclined to check it out. Oh, wait, I also know arigato! 8D
