I'm not really concerned that you'll actually do it, but I do hope you end up feeling better and get out of this trough. Watch It's a Wonderful Life, To Kill A Mockingbird, Schindler's List, Dead Poet's Society, and a whole lot of Disney. Something that helps you realize that life is wonderful.

I'm sorry but I can't let this slide.

None of these movies will benefit anyone who is feeling even remotely suicidal or depressed. Even if depression was caused simply by feeling 'sad' the simple fact remains that the majority of these movies are about absolutely horrible things happening. Almost all of them deal with death, abuse, racism, and torture.

These things are the things that will stick in the heads of people who are depressed. The 'happy' ending won't really make a difference in this situation at all.

Frankly, aside from Disney this list is literally the worst list you could ever give to anyone who was even remotely depressed.
