How are we contacted when one is about to happen?

(I'm assuming the ip for the server will be in the PM/email/whatever)

 

And do I need a Skype? (just covering my bases here)

As Bambi said, I usually do make an entry detailing the time and such. And yeah, the IP will be PMed, also, skype while not necessary usually helps for quick communication .
