for the most part, the initial reaction wasn't simply "You had an advantage, that's kinda unfair" - it was more like "YOU CHEATED OMG CHEATERS CHEATERS CHEATERS" and constant whining.

not to mention the classic "I'm going to tell everyone so no one wants to play with you again!" routine.
