They say the old caretaker down here went completely crazy. Chopped up his entire staff! Of robots. All of them robots. They say that at night, you can still hear the screams... of their replicas. Functionally indistinguishable from the originals. No memory of the incident. Nobody knows what they're screaming about. Absolutely terrifying. Though obviously not paranormal in any meaningful way.

Cave: I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons? Don't make lemonade. Get mad!

GLaDOS: Yeah!

Cave: I don't need your **** lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager!

GLaDOS: Yeah!

Cave: Make life rue the day it tried to give Cave Johnson lemons!

GLaDOS: Yeah, take the lemons!

Cave: Do you know who I am? I'm Cave Johnson! I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons!

GLaDOS: I like this guy.

Cave: I'm gonna have my engineers create a combustible lemon that BURNS YOUR HOUSE DOWN!

GLaDOS: YEAH! TAKE THAT, LIFE! Burning people! He says what we're all thinking!
