Everything's on fire

The war outside our door keeps raging on

 

It's almost shockingly how things one sees and analyzes as abstracts swiftly become deeply and personally integrated to the observer through surroundings of various sorts, and people in said surroundings. Stark contrasts frame the war you always knew existed... But now see on a more personal level.
