Day 75

 

Oh man you guys, (and gals), I just got back from downtown Disney.

 

SOOO COOL!

 

Mainly the hanging out with semi-new friends. That was the mainly cool part.

 

 

The Physics talks today were pretty cool, we had a guy who was on the team that "discovered" the Higgs Boson come and speak, as well as an interesting speaker on Tomology, which is the study of recreating images from several projections.

 

 

Anyways:

PONIES TOMORROW!!!!!

 

It'll probably be late night before I can watch it though. :(

I think it's tomography, actually. We have an intro physics lab that uses visible light to reconstruct 3D images of translucent objects out of 2D slices. It's pretty darn cool.

Did you visit the Lego store? The one in Downtown Disney is one of my faves; it has Lego sculptures of classic Disney movie scenes, with the characters as minifigures.

I ate at this Irish Restaurant at DTD, it was so good. But the best part was that there was an irish band playing The Cave live. Oh, and I did I mention there were real tap dancers?

 

And also the lego stores awesome too. I thought the Prince Charming fighting Maleficent sculpture was the best one.
