Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that things don't matter if siblings say them. I've had my feelings hurt by siblings on many occasions. But hey, don't beat yourself up for being sensitive. I could not live in a world without sensitive people. Feelings matter and are a good thing to have, even though they can make life quite difficult.

the thing about siblings saying stuff like this to me is that they are your family. if anything, these are the people who shouldn't be saying stuff like this to you. but that's the way it works, i guess

Yeah, the people you love most are the people who have the ability to hurt you most. Living together can make people go at each other without considering the consequences. I think.
