Sub-leader Burn

<daydreamer>

So that was why they made me person-in-charge of Publicity's stunt in Co-Curricular Activity Week.

To make me suffer for the brunt of problems coming from the higher-ups.

A day away from the deadline, and everything went haywire and crosswire.

The previous day, I met up with the other member whom I assigned Poster duty, and we both hand-drew three posters and took up the whole day doing so, in the process nicking my wrist with a blade that was unlawfully placed in the open, having a bit of a tear-fall because of the pain and the stress of completing them before evening.

They were all rejected. They were too small, materials too expensive (that means no reimbursement) and all that kind of words from the main committee.

I wasn't there at the meeting - couldn't because of another project I had to do for Creative Arts Ministry.

And the burn of leadership comes here.

A concerned member - one of very few concerned members - has provided solutions. Thank goodness for him. It's a no-brainer that we all would be in deep trouble if this isn't solved tonight, acted out tomorrow, and touched up by Monday.

Save for a lot of hindrances that are coming in the way.

Someone stop pinching on Tahu being hot-headed and high-almighty because he's leader. (I don't know why some of us do that, but we do) Being a (sub -)leader involves burn, and a lot more than just the heated kind.

Spending a lot of your time, effort and thought on the project.

If higher-ups don't like it, watch it all melt down the drain.

You can't sit in the after-burn. You have to get up first, then pull your other members (willing or unwilling) up. (Most of them are unwilling.)

It sucks. But I'm alive. Little else I can do but to fix up things, and fix them fast.

Then I shouldn't be here and be elsewhere. *scoots away*
