Windows RT; a less-full version of Windows 8 that doesn't allow the use of third party programs (like Minecraft, or Zenwriter) and only apps in their app store are available programs. (Pro has the full Windows 8 OS on it, but I didn't need that for what I intend to use this for).

but it does run a little faster than my laptop (although my laptop also boots up a lot of programs when turned on... like Steam, Curse, Skype, Spotify, etc...) and can do most of the same things. If there was a Zenwriter app for this tablet it would make me 10x happier, but Word works well enough (and Word is compatible with Zenwriter, so I can switch documents out on computers pretty easily).

I'm mostly using it for writing/schoolwork/reading/digital textbooks (due to its size it's pretty easy to bring wherever, doesn't take a lot of space up on desks/tables so I can have all my notes sprawled out around it). The touch-keyboard cover is also my favorite thing. Additionally, I liked this more than the iPad devices (a friend of mine uses one, and I just dislike the feel of it personally).

And in comparison, my laptop has... maybe half the battery life unplugged <.<;;;

Nice nice. Good to know I'm not the only one with a 1366x768 resolution.

The Surface looks great even in pink, though maybe it's just on pictures. Not sure I'd like it in that colour.

And here I thought everyone hated Windows 8 and RT. Personally, I wouldn't like to use RT.
