Well, thankfully graphics aren't everything. :3

^taken from a snapshot from the game Drakensang - The River of Time (which is the sequel to Drakensang, BTW), where I am playing as - surprise, surprise- an elf again, a lady this time. ^^ I had to re-install it a few days ago because it once crashed while saving, and pretty much messed up the quicksave, which is bad... now I have it running at the lowst graphics settings, and oh wonder, it's working well. Just doesn't look -as- pretty. Ah well.

But then again, there's so much to look at in the game (I spend about 50% of playing time just standing around and listening to some random dialogues xD Like in one tavern, there are two guys who tell jokes the whole time. One of those things that's not relevant to the story at all, but gives it a certain atmosphere that I really really enjoy.)

That basically sums up what I've been doing lately, apart from some drawing, maths stuff and tidying up a bit... fantasy RPGs are quite fun, and eat up an awful lot of time D:

If thats what it looks like on the lowest graphics then that looks pretty good. Although I am a console kiddy so what would I know?

Hm, okay. But the thing is that the textures are all shiny and stuff, and that's a bit annoying. :/ And the thing is, if you've played on fairly high settings (not knowing it will crash the game xD) and then have to turn it all down it's a bit... meh. Or maybe I'm just unhappy becasue I know the floor could otherwise be covered in grass, who knows xD)

It still doesn't look THAT bad to me; but maybe that's because I grew up with the PS1 and PS2, yet my only interaction with 'HD' is my PC now. =p

Yeah, but not so much... ^^

Probably, yes. Then again, my PC has never been capable of real 'HD' stuff... :shrugs:

Neither is mine technically, hence the quotes. xD I suspect half of it is mostly just my monitor, but my computer likely couldn't handle full HD stuff as it is anyway. =P
