My Lego Cuusoo Project is Published!

I know it's pretty basic right now, but I think it gets the point across.

To Cuusoo!

Even if my project doesn't make it, I still would love to see something other than a slanted brick used for a minifig dress. If nothing else, I hope that this gets people thinking.

Whassat, Billy?

You're happy with the current minifig dress situation?

New mold projects are a different beast than sets with new molds. They have specific guidelines in place for such projects, and instead of being sold on their own, if passed, they would be integrated into other sets. The project creator also only gets a one-time payment, instead of a percentage of the profits.

That said, this project really doesn't appeal to me. I like the slope brick solution (its blockiness matches that of the torso), and apart from changing the shape, this part design doesn't have any distinct advantages over the dress brick. It doesn't add poseability, and in fact it is less customizeable than current dress slopes (for instance, a separate mold would be needed for figs like Zurg who need a taller dress, rather than just being able to use a steeper slope). The design you've made is decent, but I just don't see the point.

Thanks a lot for that critique! I'll keep that in mind, and to each their own. (Also, I read through the details when I created the project, so I know all about the terms and conditions should my project actually be accepted)

Anyway, it's just something that's always ruffled my petticoat when playing with minifigs, and like I've stated, even if nothing else, I would like this to get people thinking. ^^
