Well, I beat Scratches. Oh. My. God.

I had glanced at a couple walkthroughs -- they all said "Climb through the wall and you beat the game!" and "Climb through that hole and you're done!" Never did I expect an ending quite like that. I won't spoil it, but ironically, just before I thought "Wow, there weren't as many scary things in this game as I thought." Heh. Hehehe. Two seconds later I met the motherload.

But you still never figure out what exactly happened! Who was that guy at the end? Milton? Blackwood? Why did Blackwood kill his wife? What happened to Milton? Grr.

Good ending, though. Morbid, but good. Leaves me wanting more...
