Lalalalala-I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING-dodedodedo~

Anyway, it was chilly today, so for the first time in months I'm wearing a hoodie and jeans.

I have missed this far more than I should.

That is a strangely accurate description of me during NaNoWriMo. I might do better this year.

See, I keep thinking about joining that, but November is a bit crazy for me at work what with Thanksgiving and all...

Not to mention I've never written a novel, nor do I have any idea what type of story to start with.  =P

I do short stories here and there, but I think I need more practice with them before I try something that grand.

I also have this problem. And I have to confess that I am a complete drought of creativity. Pretty much everything I've ever put to paper has either been a blatant riff of something that already exists, or a big ole fat cliche. It hasn't stopped me from trying, though... or crashing and burning.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about writing cliche's.  Beowulf could probably make Shakespeare look unoriginal and bland.

Originality is all in the eye of the beholder, methinks.  Also, I kinda like cliche's when executed properly (The LEGO movie was filled to the brim with them, and yet I love it).
