You know, sometimes it can be scary, or it can be interesting, when you search your name or nicknames on the internet. Recently I decided I would search my nickname, Voxumo, using google and I came upon this.
You will notice i highlighted the two instances of the word voxumo. After trying to translate parts of it, it turned out to be Italian and the instances where voxumo is used is referring to a city or town. It is written as though author is telling someone about how a beheading took place in the city/town of voxumo.
The actual translation is something like this
Translation
Paul's year-old son paolo saniuro, was beheaded in the town of voxumo. But Forella Marta, as fi can say that haueffe neck, and even the Hebbe for effer recilo, vn of 'year took off in the fame city voxumo.
Some words were apparently unable to be translated as you can tell, but still it is interesting to see the context in which it was used. The book in which I found this can be found here, and the actual title of the book, which was published in 1653 translates to The East India business subject to the Gospel. It should be noted that trying to find a place called Voxumo, turns up no results.
So all in all, it is neat what you discover about a name one the internet sometimes, afterall I had no idea about this when i started using the name Voxumo.
