Think of it this way, BtB. The world has ended, and it's now mostly covered in water. Small floating communities have popped up, and the governments of old have all but dissapeared. The massive seas are ruled by modern pirates, with a mix of ancient pirate garb and a more modern look as well. The way I had imagined, it was our BZP characters who lived of this world (like me with my squid head, or GMan with his Miru, or BK with his Bohrok Head...)
