Is this not the absolute weirdest thing?

I heard this and my first reaction was just

"what?"

Apparently it was written before Mockingbird, but her editor advised that she write a story about the flashbacks of the main character and that ended up being Mockingbird. I'm actually pretty excited for it.

Huh.

I didn't realize that, somehow. 

I just got somewhat more confident that this book will not just take my money for the sake of taking my money. xD
