Yeah I remember having carpet similar to awfullness at our old house.

Love the wood floors though, we got wood floors and it's nice.

Why do people put carpet over wooden floors? Because sometimes you don't want to spill stuff on the wooden floor.

My hands were powdery white after the mass carpetrippage......

I think the reason this floor got carpeted was because of the cold factor. None of the floors in my Quonset are insulated, therefore you HAVE to wear slippers in the winter or you will most likey frost bite your tootsies. So, cold hardwood, or Vomit yellow carpet......... I'll take cold wood floors anyday!

I remember the last time we ripped carpet out of my house...ewww. Found abou 14 old, dingy, grungy-looking, B-B-gun iron pellets UNDER the carpet...and in my bonus room there was TWO layers of carpet and NO padding!

Did somebody REALLY puke on the carpet?
