Ok I lied, and because daydreamer pinched me. This will be my last entry of sorts, I guess.
Everyone seems to be confused about the name Volar, and why I have it.
Well it is Spanish for "to fly", and generally used to note someone of being "fly" (as in cool).
I first came upon the word when I went to Hong Kong. There was a VIP Members Only 21+ nightclub called Volar (originally called Fly). I know the bartender who works there, so I made frequent visits during my stay in the city. I was given a dog-tag chain for members and staff only, which has the words Volar on it (chain goes through the O, which can be another good reason why I use the name. Omicron = O). I still have that dog tag.
Then I entered the radio career, and needed a radio alias for the airwaves. After much thought, I chose Volar to be my permanent radio name.
I use the name everywhere else now. It is my cosplaying name, a name I use for video games, and other various forums and memberships.
And considering I am a free spirited, laidback person, I believe the name fits. I am flying high in the sky free from everything else. Flying towards my dreams and away from my worries.
And plus I am pretty fly for a white guy.
